It's good! Tacklebox is a lovely little experience. The way it feels to play is immaculate. The use of momentum is the star of the show, making for a very unique and satisfying platformer. All the artistic expression, from the graphics to the characters and animation, are a major treat as well.

It must be stressed that Tacklebox is a sandbox demonstration of the mechanics of The Big Catch and not much more. My only real complaint is that Tacklebox doesn't actually "end" at any point, I just looked up a guide and discovered that I had explored every location it had to offer (except for a door locked behind 100% collection of every coin in the game). So unless you plan on 100% completing Tacklebox, you will just awkwardly run out of places to go. Despite this, it's definitely still worth trying.

More people need to play this! Really creative and satisfying take on a rage platformer. The unique gameplay, quirky levels, and fun secrets and challenges add all the charm and content needed to make this simple game so frustrating, yet so enjoyable.

(played offline, my save for a normal, non-100% playthrough was 6.5 hours)
Death's Door is a great little game. The passion of its creators shows in every aspect; the gameplay is tight and satisfying, the character designs are all so fun, the music is lovely, and the levels are all super interesting. Absolutely worth your time and money.

I'm fairly satisfied with Anemoiapolis so far. Some of the levels were very atmospheric, including just the right tinge of dread to keep me on my toes in an environment so fascinatingly drab (in a good way). Others were a bit lacking but still at least had some decent visual setpieces. I'd have preferred maybe some more puzzles and actually engaging gameplay opportunities but there's still enjoyment in taking in the atmosphere of each space-out-of-time. Also very happy it doesn't lean into the likes of Backrooms; there's no jumpscares or boogeyman monster, only the uncanny nature of Anemoiapolis.

A return to Metro that's very different from the other two games, but still pretty good. Some points:
- Beautiful graphics, raytraced lighting looks fantastic
- Gunplay feels ok; animations are awesome and guns are proper lethal, but random inaccuracy is way too punishing.
- The first open world area is the worst, but they get better (probably because they get more linear) as they progress. Sidequests weren't compelling enough to go out of my way for them.
- Stealth gameplay is satisfying, albeit simple and inconsequential. With ammo being such a scarce resource, you're encouraged to avoid combat when possible
- Story is alright, though not as compelling as its predecessors
All in all a decent game! Good but not great, definition of a 7/10 for me.

It's sunsetting on September 27th. My favorite game in a long time, now yet another in a long line of live service failures that never got to reach its full potential. RIP
