Excellent graphic adventure, from beginning to end. Being that I was playing the new "Return to Monkey Island" with an enthusiasm to match, it turned out that I reached the end of "The excavation..." much earlier because it really caught me much more. Why? Because this adventure has the right perfume that old school gamers are looking for: good story, good setting, well-driven, good dialogues, gripping, immersive, lovecraftian touches, and crafted with pixel art. And... You won't have to look for walkthroughs to finish it. However, yes, towards the end, I googled some Latin stuff to successfully solve a puzzle (it's evident that it's done on purpose and it's very rewarding to solve it this way). Beautiful ending, if a bit predictable towards the end.
I recommend it without a doubt.
