A truly excellent game to play with friends in the evening. Developers are great on social media, too.
Also, just about the only coop shooter game that features extreme latency tolerance. I can literally play with people from China while in EU with zero issues. It is quite wonderful.

An excellent game overall. Gameplay is very similar to Remnant 1, but the character development system is significantly expanded. There are no bugs that we've encountered thus far, other than pretty poor frame pacing (when turning the camera), but you don't notice it after the first 15 minutes, so I don't really count it. The most impressive feature of this game is the map design, though. Aside great visuals the mechanics and feel of each area is drastically different and boss encounter design is of very high quality. I am thoroughly impressed, which is not a very common thing for me with games these days.

The game is quite difficult, by the way. Bosses are no pushovers. If you start the game at maximum allowed difficulty as a fresh player, you are going to regret it very quickly. Some bosses are very intense mechanically, others require good reflexes and spatial awareness. There's something for everyone.

Solid co-op systems, it's clearly designed to be played with a friend(s). Oh yeah, and great voice acting, though sidequests can get quite wordy, which doesn't mesh with co-op all that well if you want to listen to everything (not that you have to).

Well-designed game. Has some of that classic Subnautica vibe going. Very polished, good co-op capability.

Can't get an XBONE controller to be detected on this game no matter what. Broken port.

Best space flight platform there is with only Star Citizen for competition. Unfortunately, the gameplay is severely limited - the only meaningful things to do are several ways of working towards obtaining the ship(s) and certain equipment you want and then significantly upgrading them through a fairly grindy (but also fairly rewarding) process. Alas, there isn't really a very good reason to upgrade your stuff, because there are no meaningful endgame activities. PvP is pretty much an afterthought that exists, but isn't really integrated well in to the game (it mostly exists as ganking).

There are co-op options in the game, but those are severely limited and quite glitchy. Still, it is possible to play with a friend (or friends), though you may find limited selection of meaningful things to do together after a while. You can group up for fighting and trading or even fly together in the same ship, you can also obtain a carrier where your friends can dock and keep their things in as you travel through the galaxy together on it, but keep your expectations reasonably low, this game was never really designed for co-op at its core.

I would still recommend the game overall, because by the time you run out of things to do and the nature of game's shallow content base becomes a problem you will have spent more than enough playtime to make it worth the investment, assuming you like space flight games. It's quite pretty and fun while it lasts.

Do not expect the developer to introduce new and exciting things on the regular. The game has a steady playerbase, but from the development standpoint it is kept on life support mode for many years now. They are not going to shut it down any time soon, but it is not going to be improved either.

Chill. Despite being a PvP-oriented game it still manages to be chill. And it is really fun and easy to get in to with friends.

A very moving game (interactive story?). The game is based on "quick time events", which require precise input in split-second decision situations, which aren't easy to pull off and all of them have severe consequences if the player fails them. Despite that, this is truly a unique experience, well worth the time and cost. Highly recommend.

There is no consistent self-healing in this game. Player is intended to heal themselves by parrying, but parry is even more finicky than Dark Souls, making it completely unfeasible. There are extremely few healing items in the game and the only shop selling them can not be teleported to. With map being huge and no quick travel available, this just makes the game thoroughly frustrating by repeatedly killing the player by chip damage from trash mobs alone. I do not recommend this to players who don't have time or inclination to spend dozens of hours practicing parry on all mob types in the game, until they can do it flawlessly.

A very enjoyable game, highly recommended. Had no issues with controls, in-game lore was pretty cool, environments well designed. The only small disappointment was that the Expeditions (a certain non-essential gamemode) are harshly timed and the mod to extend the timer didn't work for me, so I just ignored them.
