Operate your very own mercenary company and then watch them die to the cruel rng gods over and over. Suffering is mandatory. The ironman mode is an exquisite form of self torture. Don't let the graphics styling fool you. This game is gorgeous. From the heads flying on a decapitation to the sounds of suffering as you deal a death blow, this game has a great feel and pleasurable highs to match the lows of defeat. Its oddly addictive and a joy to play.

I love this game... I hate this game. Its a fine balance between sacrifice and brutality. Everything is a struggle and each success is tempered by the next tragedy.

If you like logistical challenges, this is your game. Runs great even on a potato.

A great homage to the original X-COM with some nice updates and differences in play. This is definitely going to ruin my freetime just as X-COM did when I was in college.
