A great re-imagination of the Dynasty Warriors Franchise.

Good fun game, Hades with Dynasty Warriors cast is the best way to describe.

It's punishingly difficult to start with, especially with the first boss, however, gets more consistant as you unlock the better characters.

Overwatch but fun

The gameplay is very reminiscent of early Overwatch 1 days, where nobody knows the meta and just plays for fun.

Having 36 Marvel heroes on launch results in diverse matchups and a playstyle for every kind of player. Each match can last 7-15 minutes on quick play and ranked can sometimes go back and forth for up to 20 minutes.

The gameplay loop is very addicting and most players are just out to have fun, rather than be toxic and super competitive.

The only downside for me is that i have to restart the game after 3 matches otherwise the 4th will guarantee a GPU crash. Nothing to do with my GPU or CPU as I have never encountered this problem with other games. It is just very badly optimised at present, and I hope they fix it.

A good RPG and successor to Persona

At this moment in time i would recommend Metaphor. I had some significant problems with the first couple of hours of the game, but once you get past the "Tutorial" areas, the game becomes more enjoyable and the interactions/dialogue with characters get more engaging.

Pros
- Similar gameplay cycle as the Persona Series.
- New class/skill mechanics through archetypes.
- New action economy combat, rewarding taking advantage of weaknesses.
- Interesting characters and setting.
- Music is a joy to listen to (However, is too loud be default).
- Art is mostly good.

Cons
- Watercolour art looks a bit out of place to the CGI characters in the world.
- The menus are a nightmare to navigate, extremely busy, flashy and too colourful. Caused me several headaches until my eyes adjusted to it. An option to go back to the simplistic menu at the start of the game would be nice.
- Combat relies too much on the first turn, especially with how the action economy works. You could wipe the floor turn 1 against an enemy, but if that same enemy goes first instead, your party can get wiped out.
- Too much unnecessary dialogue. Characters will explain what they plan to do, take 3 steps forward and you get 5 more dialogue boxes of them repeating it. I found myself skipping through a lot of this type of dialogue as the characters essentially say nothing, instead focusing more on the scenes that pushed the plot forward is more enjoyable and prevents burn out.

Silent Hill is back!

A true return to form for survival horror. This remake innovates a lot and changes up the mechanics and gameplay enough to keep the whole experience feeling fresh to veteran players.

Additionally, whilst some of the puzzles/areas/events may differ to the original, Bloober team added in a lot of nostalgic moments acknowledging the differences and paying homage to the original.

An amazing remake and horror experience.

Fun survival game with a Dark Fantasy Setting

The game play is very similar to Vampire Survivors, select a character, choose your level up abilities, survive as long as possible.

However, something that really intrigued me with this game was it's nod to the dark fantasy genre and games with a similar setting. There are certain enemies and NPCs that look extremely similar to those in the Dark Souls franchise which were a treat to encounter. There are even "Gaols" like challenges straight from Elden Ring.

The game play is a little "dumbed down" from that in Vampire Survivors from what i've played so far, however, it is still just as addicting and calming to play through.

Great game to play in small sessions to wind down or pass the time.

Cute and charming auto battler

For the most part the game is pretty decent to afk with or chill out after a hard day at work.

There is a large array of different units and combinations you can do, however you are reliant on luck or spamming Raccoons to get free resets.

You get 8 Campaign missions, with a story against scripted teams followed up by the standard PVP modes for auto-battlers.

I have to mark it as recommended as I've enjoyed my time so far, i'm just a little disappointed with the amount of content for the price.

Very Addicting Gameplay that feels straight out of the Anime.

Episode Mode (Story) starts off very imbalanced and punishing for the first few fights, it's not friendly to newcomers at all, however, by the time you persevere and tough past the Saiyan Saga, you will have become familiar enough with the control scheme to start breezing through several fights.

The most addicting part of this game is the fighting itself and the amount of characters/diverse teams you can put together. I've always found it extremely difficult to play fighting games, however, this one has me constantly coming back for more, even when i lose.

One part in particular i really adore is the "DP System" for online play, where each character has a power rating of 1-10 and you can make a team of fighters that total to 15 to take on other players. I highly recommend using this mode compared to solo fights, otherwise you'll just run into Vegito and Gogeta non-stop.

You're basically playing a movie with this FF installment, and i am fine with it.

The draw to Final Fantasy for myself has never been the combat or gameplay, it's always been the characters and the storytelling, something this game excels at immensely.

The game has moved away from the more tactical approach to combat, to a more action focus with a hint of fighting games when it comes to the bosses.

You are rewarded for executing combos and using varied attacks through a rating system, reminiscent of the DMC series.

I adore the heavy focus on the "Eikons" (Summons) and their direct impact on the world.

For me personally, this game is phenomenal. I'd rate it above the previous installment FF15 by a long way.
