This game should not have released when it did.
It's like a really watery stew- the meat is nice, there's *almost* a semblance of flavor in there somewhere, but the entire rest of the stew is just... bland. Now you can hear the chef chopping up more ingredients in the kitchen, and he tells you it's gonna be great once he puts them in the rest of the stew, but at this rate he's been chopping forever and you've already eaten a little bit, and you're not sure if you want any more despite the promises that it's gonna taste amazing.

At this point, you've already had a few meals elsewhere that are decent, and you keep coming back to see if he's done yet, but then he tells you he's actually not gonna use some of the key ingredients he chopped up (and promised you) because they don't fit in the smallest bowl that they sell stew in, despite it being on the ingredients list when you ordered.

Despite the great art style and solid gameplay, the game just lacks content and 343 is not delivering in time. You can tell content has been delayed (most recent event was clearly intended for April/Easter, which was 5 months ago). "Live service" is no more than life support.

Halo on PC. It's good lol

Fun little adventure, takes clear inspirations from RPG pioneers and plays with it!

singleplayer is the only redeeming quality

I regret to say it, but this simply is not worth it anymore.
"Battle Royale" has been done better now, and for free. I originally loved this game, but years later the bugs, cheating, and lag hasn't really been addressed.
Still holds up decent of course, but I don't think I'd go back to it.

Historical, and you can see how it really paved the way for newer and greater class shooters, but honestly... don't spend your money here.
Nothing but rude players, trolls, and grenade spam. There's a reason grenades never made it in TF2.

Temporarily removed my depression

A clever platforming experience reminiscent of Mario Sunshine.

I'll update this review once I finish the game, but I need to recommend it at the very least.

Okay I had to 100% this game because holy jesus, it's fantastic.
10/10

Plus, huge DLC update with hours of content coming (free if you get it on release), and Co-Op!!! Hello?!?!?
