Another fantastic Rogue-like game. Similar to my review of Binding of Issac, a lot of times you aren't playing to win THAT Game, but unlock something for the next time. There's a lot of variation and you really feel like every choice and decision matters. Do you spend your scrap (currency) on a new cannon or a new crew member? Do you risk sending your crew to rescue trapped federation troops from giant space spiders or leave the troops to their fate?

The only criticism I have with the game is that I wish there was a little more 'exploration' time. There's a constant 'time crunch' as you run for your life from the rebel fleet that's persuing you. I wish there was a mode for more relaxed play. But FTL is definitly worth the $10 entry price if you are into sci fi at all.
