HELLDIVERS 2 is a FANTASTIC game with a stellar developer behind it. In an era of live service games that treat players like something to farm hours and engagement off of - HELLDIVERS 2 breaks away from that sickening mold. It feels like they actually respect their playerbase.

The game play formula of this game is fantastic and ludicrously self aware of the material is satirizes. Most importantly, the game is fun and creative. The enemies are fun and the game is just a good game - something that feels all too uncommon nowadays.

So get out there, the galactic war needs you and Super Earth needs heroes!

While it is in the Borderlands universe, Pre-Sequel feels more like a glorified DLC than a game itself. As a Borderlands fan, it felt like I had to slug myself to work up the motivation to play through the game. Compared to Borderlands 2 this game is nothing short of a let down.

This game got a lot of flak when it first came out for the combat system, and I'll give it that. The combat does feel repetitive after a while of playing the game. However, the music, graphics, story, everything else the game has to offer is excellent. After a few hours of playing the game I had to go and download the soundtrack because the music is just awesome. I was expecting okay graphics but they ended up being much better than I expected. An impulse buy, I absolutely LOVED the story and thought it was interesting throughout the game.

Definitely will reccomend this game to my friends.
