p.s. I love pure logic games like this. There's a certain Pokemon puzzle flash game I absolutely adore, as well.

I'll lead off with the pros
* Extremely good sound design, especially interacting with items in the apartments, and the sounds when casting
* Beautiful sprite work
* Creative boss battles

Cons:
* Certain bosses have some unfair patterns, especially in hardcore mode. It honestly feels like the devs did not actually playtest their own bosses.
* So so story. A bit too serious for the art style
* Stretched/borderless mode breaks constantly when alt+tabbing, occasionally crashing the game.

Now, the reason I bought this game was so I could practice my typing on one-handed keyboard layout. However, this is a GAME first and foremost. Although the main mechanics are typing out words, you have to deal with many mechanics that prevent you from practicing:
* Being out of range
* Dropping your book
* Demon mode
* Any mistake forces you to constantly recontextualize

These time losses add up significantly and hinders personal progress. I do not recommend this game when trying to learn typing. This is something you come back to after you master your layout.

Early Access Review
Weirdly addictive game. Extremely simple controls - the only things you can do in the game are move, confirm, cancel and pause. Just like Divekick contains just the bare essentials for a fighting game, this one contains just enough mechanics for a rogue-lite to be engaging and fun.

Fun, clean, bug free, good design (though very simple). The mechanics are interesting, but in terms of difficulty, where I rate the true ending for "Baba Is You" a 9/10, this game sits on a solid 4/10. Even the tough puzzles require only a few iterations of experimentation before the puzzle solution presents itself.
This persisted until pretty much the end-game - there were a few headscratchers in the challenge and Appendix missions, but otherwise the difficulty remained pretty consistent.

This game is pretty much Link to the Past meets Dark Souls meets Hyperlight Drifter meets Fez. Though it draws the best from these games, it does seem to struggle to come up with its own ideas. The most fascinating thing it brings to the table is the in-game manual, which you find piece by piece over the course of the game. The manual is mostly written in the game's unique language, so you have to parse it yourself by images and the occasional English text. The manual contains a wealth of handwritten hints, so the puzzles aren't too esoteric. This was my main complaint with Fez.

The game's difficult varies, but mostly on the easier side because there's very little penalty to dying. Though the parry mechanic seems terribly inconvenient, it trivializes bosses and enemies once you can learn the timing, so it's worth it.

Anyways not really a great or structured review. Play it! Don't use a guide! Avoid spoilers!

It's clever, subversive and stylish as ♥♥♥♥. I don't want to say too much to avoid any spoilers, as (with most games) knowing as little as possible will enhance your experience.

I don't want to write a review, because I don't want to spoil the game in any way for anyone else. All I want to say is - it's crazy that a game like this can exist.

After you finish it, the least you can do to thank the developers is buy it for a friend!
