Fantastic old school RPG. Very much an RPG where choices have consequence and character builds follow classic general styles and reading how attributes and what buffs each other makes a world of difference. NO VOICE OVER. I am so far into Chapter 2 and everything has been well written, but it is just that, all written. The grid style turn based combat is something I have found relaxing and no too stressful.

I don't know what else to say except this game is shaping up to be really epic for me. Great writing, lovecraftian horror, pure RPG-ness, the retro art is really charming and well done. It is not all ultra retro though because certainly "new" game systems are layered on top (like cooking and potion crafting). If any of this sounds like something you'd enjoy, hop on in. It is clear the developer worked really hard on this and has a true for it, and so far looks decently meaty for the price.

It was my first day as a Helldiver and they trusted me to launch and ICBM. I don't know where it landed, but they have freedom now.

An excellent game so far. Runs very smooth on my low/mid spec machine. I get stable almost 60fps (56 or 57 i think???) with an ARC770 and an i3 12100f on high settings. The frame stability is actually really solid.

The combat is fast and satisfying. It feels really good to pilot the AC. The customization is incredible. This game is pure action and I love that. The sounds are really satisfying as well imo. So far, a great experience. I would write more but I think I'm headed out on another sortie.

So, i have had this game for a long time. I started with 2 friends, it was such a struggle all those years ago. We enjoyed it still. Time goes by, and I looked upon this game again in my steam library. The devs never quit. They just push and push, take feedback from the community, and slowly roll out changes. So much has been added and so much more is coming.

I have easily put over 100hrs in the last 4 months. It is a blast. It is hard. It is hardcore. This game is not about how I survived, its about how I died.

This is a great addition to the reboot of the franchise. I have definately put my time in and am planning to put in much more.

Things I enjoy:
- I love the sandbox Fallout 4 lets me play in. I have already build a castle and have an army its pretty rad.
- If I take the time to run places and not fast travel the weather system + how landscapes are made = gorgeous vistas. So much so that I have several screen shots as desktop backgrounds.
- Base building? Did i mention this?
- The new perk system. It is a lot less of a "did I mess up my build" expereience since you can dump points each level into literally any stat. Beautiful
- The companions. They are very dynamic in this game. They all have different feels for the type of people that they are.
- The scale of the game and world. It's large, it takes a long time to move through the content
- Developer easter eggs. I have seen more teddy bears doing lewd and ridiculous things than I can count. Also skeletons dying in some pretty awkward poses and doing some very questionable things pre-war haha.
- Some of the bugs. For instance, Dogmeat came out of a swamp dog paddling and wouldn't stop until I entered a new area/ reloaded. I laughed very hard watching him try to crouch and dog paddle and look at me with a face like "dude what is happening!?". Moments like this can't be recreated just experienced.

The things I don't enjoy
- Lack of an excyclopedia/ reference material for the game. There are many features/ things that were added that haven't been discussed.
- Building alignment and the "snap" system of putting pieces together. While the base building is amazing trying to stack some things on top of other things is very difficult. It's like trying to stack 2 blocks on top of each other except you have not tools to smooth the edges to make things align just perfectly at the seams.
- Some of the bugs. The bug where my weapons vanish and I can't see my iron sights or melee weapons is a little agrivating albeit has a simple solution. Also the one I just experienced where I can only look left and right and lose the ability to look up and down in first person. Again this has a simple solution so I can ditch the whole "Wolfenstein 3d" feeling.

I am sure I missed some stuff and will update this as nessecary. Overall this is a great game to get immersed in if you are into post apocolypic do what it takes to survive type scenarios. Very excited to see what modders and DLC can bring to the table!

This is a solid beta. It provides great fast paced action. Expansive leveling and customization. You can play solo or in groups so you aren't strong armed into one or the other. I will say it again though, it is a beta so there are bugs but the flip side to that is a continual stream of updates. I am taking place in the first big operation and it is a lot of fun. Basically it has everything I could want in an Action shooter; big levels, different types of missions, many environments, lots of guns, lots of leveling of gear etc... Just a great game for 20mins or 20hrs.
