Great product, I bought this for my mother's new build house. I also bought a £10 signal tester. Downloaded an app which gave the direction of the transmitter (65k from Solihull) and started the install. Installed in the loft and it gave 2 green lights out of a possible 4, turned it towards the transmitter and I got 3 green lights (at home I have only 1 green light which gives a good signal). Finished the install and all done.
I was extremely sceptical about this product, based on the size of the unit and apparent ease... was also worried that I was asking a lot as 50ish miles from the transmitter was a big ask.
It did work straight out the box and in a loft. This saved hundreds of pounds in a pro install of an aeriel on the outside of the house. I tuned the TV and it found about 200 channels.
It does need power to work, I tapped a fuse spur in to a 6amp smoke alarm.
