Overlook: At the time of writing this, with Man the Guns soon coming out and the new features some of the latest updates have i can certainly say over the years HOI4 is getting better. Like with all paradox games they start terrible but slowly over time with community feed back make it better. HOI4 i would put in my top 10 of best RTS games simply because of how fun the game can be after just a few hours.

Pros:
- Active modding community
- Simple design
- Extremely replayable
- Fun Historical refrences

Cons:
- Terrible AI ( Mostly from how easy it is to beat the AI)
- Poorly optimised for multicore CPUs (Thats my personal opinion)
- CPU intensive
- Overpriced DLC

Hopes for the Future:
Even though it would take many months to convert HOI4 from its current engine to a new engine to simply make the game run better, i do hope paradox fixes many of the bugs the community has been reporting but left unpatched for years.
