Shovel Knight is a wonderful game that is well worth the money for any SNES era gamers. It features responsive platforming speckled with a host of gimmicks to keep things interesting. Its only shortcoming, perhaps, is its relatively short campaign length.

An amazing yet relatively simple rogue-like dungeon crawler. I'm pretty sure this indie gem is partially responsible for the recent explosion of rogue-likes on Steam.

A somewhat underrated game for those enjoy sandbox/survival games. You will start out weak as hell but as you progress and become familiar with the environment you will be able to build large encampments.

I also enjoy this game due to its rogue-like aspects (when you die, you start over) and its Tim Burton-esque art style.

A superb and unique rogue-like game. If you like Binding of Isaac, Rogue Legacy, or any old school rogue-likes then give this game a try!

you have to get through an area killing people, but they kill you in one hit, if they notice you...

best of all tho, AMAZING MUSIC... seriously the music is fun, really grabs the atmosphere well, and syncs up with ♥♥♥♥ all the time

2D Minecraft with more RPG mechanics and generally more depth overall.
