Do not waste your money. The game hardly works, awful performance issues, and even if you try and use Frame Generation to remedy the problem, it leaves the most hideous after-imaging I've ever seen.

The game is bleak and ugly, it hardly looks like a game from the 2020's without the 4k texture pack, and even then there are tons of muddy textures and unfinished looking areas.

MH gameplay is always a lot of fun, but impossible to enjoy in this installment.

Not that it's worth leaving a review, but I'm just utterly baffled at how pathetically un-fun this game is.

Pros: Fun mecha customization, cool weapon combinations, exciting bosses. The biggest mechanics that set this apart from other Fromsoft games are the firearms (obviously), it's a new and refreshing approach to combat; and the movement/maneuverability, being able to now boost, glide, levitate and drift. The level-based structure adds to replayability.

Cons: Weird difficulty spikes, not as much content as you're probably used to (not just with Elden Ring but with most From games), kind of dismissable soundtrack. The game can feel kind of one note after a while; it's easy to find a good build and tough to switch things up when you're offered a lot of sub-optimal new weapons and parts.

I haven't even beaten my first playthrough yet (after about 70h) but I can confidently say this game is a masterpiece.

So much attention to detail, top-class voice acting, incredibly memorable characters, beautiful graphics, deep seeded and extensive lore, fun and in-depth character customization, exciting and technical combat, and much more.

Every decision you make actually matters, changes your relationships with your colleagues, warps the path you'll take along your adventure, and ultimately grants each player a completely unique experience. Each playthrough supposedly has thousands of variations.

This could go on, but you should just play it. You wont regret your purchase.

It's going to take you dozens of hours just to scratch the surface of this game; it has so much to offer, and each new experience feels refreshing and more exciting than the last.

Consistently unique and memorable experiences of experimenting with new weapons and discovering new monsters.

There are a few sluggish story moments and encounters along the way, but they are a very small price to pay for the amount of time you'll spend enjoying this.

It's everything great about the Souls series, upholding the quality standards you're used to, and has arguably the best gameplay in the series.

What you have to come to terms with is the copious amount of repeat bosses, some pretty abhorrent late-game scaling, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ pvp (if you're into that).

Coming from a professional Resident Evil 4 (2005) hater, this game is incredible!

The story still makes your head spin if you think too much about it, and depending on how many roses you decide not to smell, you could beat this in one to two sittings, but we're finally free from babysitting one of gaming's worst escortees!

The gameplay is the best it's been in RE series history, the knife parry is such a freaking cool mechanic. Lots of unlockables (which I'm a sucker for), meaning tonnes of replayability.

RE4 Original bias aside, this is a 9/10
