Divine Souls F2P MMO Review by Dionysis Spinos (for grabthegames.com)


Time for another review guys! This time I chose to review a F2P game that was added to steam really recently and I found it pretty good in my opinion and really worth checking out! Divine Souls is a MMO game created by GamePrix and published by Supa Games. Divine Souls is not simply a MMO game it combines a lot of different game genres and aspects. There are RPG elements, strategy aspects, dungeons and a lot of other things that make Divine Souls a really unique indie MMO game!

Let’s start our review by the graphics. The graphics of the game are good in general, the game plays in all PCs without any issue but you shouldn’t expect amazing graphics or something like that…they are ok and can satisfy pretty much every taste and pc, so I would consider this a more positive than negative aspect of the game! As far as the music is concerned, the game has some really good and satisfying music and background sounds that makes the game more attractive to the players but unfortunately I cannot say the same thing about the voice acting. The voice acting in this game is really mediocre and sometimes annoying. As far as the game itself is concerned, it features 4 characters/classes Fighter, Slasher, Mage, and Priest. Each character has a really unique set of skills and weapons. Also, I shouldn’t forget to mention that weapons have different rarities like every MMO which is another aspect I generally love in MMO games.


What other things I liked you will ask me! I liked in this game the fact that the quests are pretty match everywhere…so there is no way to get bored in the game. Also, the quests are really generous in rewards too and most of them have some hard bosses to find. Furthermore, the game features a really well designed crafting aspect…that will really help you during your journeys on the Divine Souls World! Other aspects that I generally liked in this game is the main city and all the worlds/places design. I should also mention the fact that the game features guilds, party system and some really detailed with videos tutorials and beginning quests that I found really helpful and fun!


Last but not least, I totally recommend this game to everyone, I liked it, the community and the devs are really friendly and they are ALWAYS there to help you in any question or whatever you would like to ask. So why not try it out? It is F2P as well!

Today GrabtheGames and I are so excited that we have hands-on NS 2: Combat, a really anticipated game that I wanted to play since it got released on Steam.


But first things first, you will ask me what NS2: Combat is Dionysis? Great question, let me start by saying that it is a first-person team-oriented multiplayer shooter developed by Faultline Games (a small indie studio that formed from the Natural Selection 2 modding scene in 2012) and published by Unknown Worlds Entertainment (the company that brought you Natural Selection 2). The players in this game can choose between 2 sides the Trans-System Federations (TSF) Space Marines or the Alien species known as the “Kharaa”. I liked a lot of things in this game so…let’s start.


The very first thing that I liked in this game is the fact that the 2 sides of the war have completely different sets of life forms and abilities. If you choose to serve the Space Marines you will use heavy and efficient weapons, grenades, mechanized armors (ohh yeah you heard me right…mechanized armors) while the Alien species use more stealth, speed and strength and also the evolution system which lets you evolve from a small Alien (but deadly) to a bigger one …and even deadlier. I should also mention another positive aspect for me which is that the match only last around 15-20 minutes which means quicker matcher and more fun.


Furthermore, as far as the music and the sound are concerned there are sooo good and the main menu music is still playing in my head….it really adds something extra while playing the game. What about the graphics Dionysis? The graphics are really good and enjoyable and you will get a pretty good game experience even if you run the game on the lower setting. Also, the devs have took care of the bad aspects of the Natural Selection 2 that caused a lot of FPS drops and other problems and with the spark engine installed the game is now smoother and more beautiful. I also loved in the game, the ready room…it is something really unique to be able to choose sides not simply by clicking a button but by jumping for example from a big height to a huge black hole and the fact that the members of all teams are present at the same time while waiting for the new match to begin is something really enjoyable and fun!


Let’s talk about the upgrade/evolution system now. As an Alien and a Marine you will get in game XP by killing other players, fixing their armors etc. and level up (up to level 15). You will be able to use the skill points you get either to get another weapon or upgrade your abilities or even evolve if you are an Alien and kill the enemy team with even more fun ways. Are you bored of playing online? That is ok NS2: Combat has you covered. You can play with bots and practice and as a result you will get better in the multiplayer as well. There are also 2 game modes available capture the point and death match with more thing to come.

Now time to state the negative aspects of the game, that there are not really negatives since the devs reassured me that they will be addressed soon with a new update and improvements. The first thing that I should mention is the “feeding” as a newbie player on the Alien side of the war you can easily feed the enemy team with a xp and that is sometimes really unfair because in that way Marines can easily gain the upper hand and win the game really quickly. Another negative aspect for me is that there are a few maps to play at this state of the game.


I am sure the old players of Natural Selection 2 will ask me why buy it? Why it is not added as a DLC or a free mod? The Devs of NS2: Combat have worked really hard at fixing / creating / amending, source code for at least year, solving all the problems of Natural Selection 2 and creating a really unique experience for old and new player on the Natural Selection gaming Universe. Finally, NS2: Combat is a really good game with a lot of positive aspects and everyone should really try it. It is one of the most enjoyable and competitive games I have played this year, with a really friendly and helpful community. This title definitely deserves to give it a go with more awesome features coming in the near future.

Today grabthegames and I are so excited that we have hands-on one of best indie games that you can possibly play now on Steam This War of Mine. This War Of Mine is an Indie survival, simulation, strategy game by 11 bit studios, the studio that brought you the amazing Anomaly series of games. I would like to state first that this game offers something different, something unique in a lot of ways. Let’s start by saying what this game is all about. In This War Of Mine you do not play as an elite soldier or a veteran like we have all get used to but you have the opportunity to control and play as a group of civilians trying to survive in a besieged city: struggling with lack of food, medicine and constant danger from snipers and hostile scavengers .And this is one of the aspects that makes this video game unique. You will view the war from the eyes of civilians trying to survive. Another thing that I loved in this game and found it really are the sketchy graphics…the graphics of the game are like they are drown by hand with a pencil which in my opinion creates a really unique atmosphere for the game and made me loved it even more. There are a lot of things I loved in this game. I loved the fact that the whole story-line is inspired by real-life events. I love to play games that have this aspect especially war games. Moreover, in this game you will have to manage your shelter. Which means, you will have to protect it from other scavengers, create tools, find food and improve your shelter as much as possible. Another thing I liked in this game is the day and night cycle. During the day you can improve your shelter and look after the survivors/civilians but you can’t go out since there are a lot snipers that will kill you easily. As far as the night cycle is concerned, you can do a lot of thing. You can set the survivors to sleep or guard the shelter from scavengers or even go to scavenge hunt yourself because in order to survive more days, you should be able to provide the survivors with food and also find a lot of useful materials to create new tools and weapons. Another aspect that I loved in this game is that you can make decisions often unforgiving and emotionally difficult for example I had to scavenge a home with elderly people in order to survive but as soon as the player realize that this is war and you have to do everything possible to survive, the longer you will be able to live. An aspect that every gamer loves and it is present in this game is the randomized aspect. The game offers a randomized world every time and not only this, but every time you start a new game you get new survivors with different abilities each time. A survivor can have several different abilities like be a fast runner or a quick scavenger etc., abilities are really useful during the game. Finally, I totally recommend the game to everyone because it offers an amazing experience, you can really spend a lot of hours in this game. This War Of Mine is the game that will make you think differently for what happens during a war….

A great way to quickly destroy friendships and make even your most loyal friends , your enemies! Totally worth it!

A really addictive game that promises fun and a lot of hours of gameplay! I really recommend it to everyone who wants to have a good time and discover the awesome storyline of Albedo: Eyes from Outer Space. The graphics and the music are really amazing too :D

This is the real Walking Dead experience! Awesome game !

Orion: Prelude is surprisingly a really good game to play. The game has evolved a lot along the way with a lot of additions and fixes and new contenet. I totally recommend it and fhe price is really really good and honestly with this price, i can't find a reason why someone should not play it and kill some nasty dinos..

It's time for my review of the game. When i first saw that Afterfall will have a "brother" game, i was really afraid and discouraged that the game will be like Afterfall Insanity full of problems , the game won't even load or start etc. (people who have played Afterfall Insanity will fully understand me). But i decided to give this title a try. I was really surprised when i started playing the game and realized that it has nothing to do with Afterfall Insanity (i am telling this in a good way) the only thing that it's the same it's the universe which the game is set in, the devs have really evolved since Afterfall Insanity and this title is the proof about it .
Let's talk a little bit more about the game now. First you have to consider the fact that it is an early access titles which means that the game will be evolving and improved constantly. The graphics of the game are surprisingly good , even on my pc which is a really mediocre one you can play flawlessly without any issues or lagging. The monsters and the character are really well designed and the environment and the atmosphere is really good, well designed and scary too. Admit it, you all died when you first played the game by the train. Let's talk about the Reaper skills now. There is the Shrapnel Cannon(middle range offensive weapon), the Shield (defensive) and Drain (health recovery). These skills are really good designed and you can use them as you like , depending on the way you want to play the game. You want to play it offensive use the Cannon, you want to play it defensive the shield is your choice, or use both of them . You are free to use them as you like. .
As far as the music is concerned it's really good and it gives you chills and the atmosphere of a horror game which is something really positive , the voice acting in the opening scene is really good too and i am sure all the aspects that I have already mentioned they will constantly improved and get even better ,the devs already have mentioned that and they have already announced what we can expect in the future.
Another think that i liked is the RPG segments in the game (except the adventure ,action and horror segments i have already mentioned) , there is a main quest at the moment and as the dev mentioned there will be 3-4 side quests in the 1 episode and the 1 episode will have 3-4 hours of gameplay so there is more to expect from it in the near future...
Time to sum it up. I liked a lot playing this game, I found it really fun and you have nothing to be afraid of when you hear the word Afterfall on the contrary i think we should all trust this title even on its early access and can't wait for the future update.
The game has controller support (really good playing experience with a controller totally recommended) and achievements will be added too

8.5/10 (because there is still improvement since it's early access and still under development, i will be updating my review constantly when new updates will be available)

A really awesome stealth game, if you are a stealth lover this title will not let you down. The story is also good enough but i would recomment to read the comics from the companion app, it will really help you understand more about the story of the game. I also love the soundtrack and the differrent possibilites you have to finish each chapter you can be in the shadows only or just kill everybody. The graphics remind me a lot Dishonored. Finally, i wish Garrett had a knife , it will be a good addition to the game to have the chance to eliminate your enemies with this....Have fun playing this game....and remember what is yours is now mine...

This game will restore your faith on Tower Defence games...it's really awesome and easy to play :D
