The first Assassin's Creed title released in a while that truly STANDS OUT for me. Struggling to enjoy the newer titles like Origins, Odyssey & Valhalla - this felt like a breath of fresh air. With this entry it feels like Ubisoft finally stripped away the elements that were annoying in the newer entries - overly prolonged campaigns, excessively huge open worlds, and tedious RPG systems - and returned to what made the originals great.

The game has a short yet captivating story, a charismatic antagonist & an enjoyable setting that's engaging & immersive. Visually it's not a game that will redefine graphics - but the combination of vibrant visuals, great audio, fluid parkour & the overall world design - it all comes together for a great gaming experience that's been missing from the series for a while. The only thing I had a problem with is the combat - having enjoyed the style of the older games like Brotherhood way more.

If you're on the fence about picking up Mirage, just go for it - great return to the OG formula.

Sold my iPhone for an Android after this game - life changing.
Other than that, story-wise is one of the best games I've played of all time, audio is just perfect, and on top of all that it's visually stunning. Pick it up at full price or on sale, I promise you that you will not regret it.

Just get yourself Heat and save yourselves money/nerves. Map feels like a huge downgrade compared to Heat, art style makes you want to go blind, dialogue seems to be written by an AI that learned how to be human by watching Cartoon Network, DLC gets thrown in your face the second you launch the game for the first time, altogether a huge disappointment - and from what I've seen there aren't many new cars compared to Heat. Would rather buy Need For Speed:Most Wanted 2005 if they ever re-released it for $60 rather than this thing.
