Finishing up a later element of the game there and candidly it's motivated me, to write this small piece.

This game is like building a house - Every single brick laid gives you an itch in the form of a contribution to something greater, with each brick cultivating something tangible in the journey to the house's completion. No brick out of place and every brick packing a mighty punch.

I'm lost for words really.

When I finish this "house" of a game - ..I think it's going to be hard playing any other RPG.

This is truly best in class.

Ultimately, thank you Larian Studios for allowing me to play a short king - an embrace on my level is something only included in a masterpiece of a title.

This game in my opinion, is one of the best strategy games I have played in my life. I have spent countless hours on many accounts under the 'One more turn' mentality.... Trust me once you start playing there is no such thing as a real life, as the game makes you feel really important and urges you to keep going.
The different difficulties actually represent the difficulty as, I can tell you first hand that Deity is basically a different dimension to Settler as such. There is quite a few leaders to play from with their own niche abilities, units and buildings. They also come with their own set of traits and personalities. Gandhi taught me the hard way. There is no surviving Defcon Gandhi....
With maps, there is many to choose from which are different from each other and formed in different ways, which makes playing again and again less stale and more enjoyable, as you are presented with new challenges, giving you basically a completely different experience from the last game you played....
The game is great with friends but this leads me to the thing I dislike about this game, It's multiplayer. When it works it is absolutely amazing but usually your game will be filled with resyncs, crashes and freezes. These things can really get to you after a while if you are a hardcore multiplayer player....

All in all an enjoyable and interesting game which you will put many hours into, under the 'One more turn' mentality. Bonus: Don't let Gandhi anywhere near nukes.....

My friend got me this game so, I decided to give it a go. At first I was amazed by the open space free roam and the amazing graphics. I also really liked the way there was multiple corporations keeping order and ruling the city / planet but the thing is, they didn't really trust each other. This led to huge firefights between the corporations which were fun to watch, and they helped me sneak past the defenders into the facility which was a bonus. I liked the class diversity with the skill system. I liked the way that every class was able to use any weapon (if you had it) so, it wasn't limiting your ability. The missons, at times felt a little bit repetitve with the magical green door, but it wasn't a major problem. The more major problems were that sometimes your characters would occasionly get stuck in walls, which was really annoying, especially when you were in a red zone because you were then unable to save. Sometimes the AI would also be a bit stupid or sometimes they would just find you out of no where, which was quite annoying. The cover system was also glitched at times. Civilians didn't really do anything except walk around, see you do something bad, run around and then get shot by the authorities, which was sad because maybe they could of had more of a purpose. The cars were basically mindless railed AI which you couldn't do much with, except explode them which was also quite sad. The game itself ran quite smoothly. The music was well implemented and made the game more enticing. There was usually multiple ways with dealing with situations, which was nice. The game made me feel really important and needed!

All in all I think it was a good, enjoyable game which constantly had me on my toes! (:

This is an amazingly good mmo fps game most of the time. Yet, there are those times when you feel like shoving your keyboard into your monitor, because of the lack of fps or when the game crashes. Yet again. there is loads of fun to be had in this game, likewhen you kill a whole enemy squad by yourself, join an outfit and zerg the map :D, take part in max crashes, C-4 everything, wreck higher level players, join a squad / platoon, wreck your friends and so much more! I would recommend to have a go at playing this game! It's even f2p so, see you in the battlefield I guess! :D
