Pretty good game nowadays. Exploration is fun, searching out new technologies and upgrading your ship is great. Everything looks incredible, even the barren rocks have a mysterious and calming feel to them. Few more things I'd like to see for sure, but the devs seem to love the game so maybe we'll see them eventually. There is a story, not incredibly complex but not bad.

Game is great, community is great, and everything is just a lot of fun. Go on missions with your friends, kill hordes of bugs or bots with cool guns and explosives. The progression systems don't feel grindy, and the microtransactions are entirely optional. "Premium" currency can be acquired quickly enough that you can get the warbonds as they roll out and they never go away anyway so you can take your time. Game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ aces.

Helldivers 2 is a great game. Arrowhead seems like a nice group of developers and they've worked hard to make a good game.

The problem is Sony is an incompetent, totalitarian, big brother company that needs to be reminded that 1984 and Brave New World are warning and not guides on how to run a business. Players on steam have their platform, Steam. We don't want third party accounts, and more than that, sony can not be trusted to keep any data safe. They've had dozens of hacks over the years and PC players have 0 confidence that sony can handle this effectively.

Further, Sony has been working on AI based auto modding technology. The intent is to listen in on all of your chat and voice messages and punish you. If you're joking around with friends in a private and call one of them "Gay" as an insult, sony considers that an actionable offense and will ban your account. This system can easily be abused, and will be used in an abusive way immediately. Corporations can not be trusted with tools like these.

If PC users wanted to be under Sony's totalitarian heal we would have bought their console. Their history of incompetence and maliciousness are not what we want, or should ever be, required to deal with.

If Sony does not remove the requirement I will be getting a refund and Sony will never see another dime from me.

Fast paced and challenging combat. Beautiful visuals. Great boss fights. Huge amount of options for building load outs. A bunch of classes, all of them with unique playstyles and team utility. Exploration and rewards are better than 99% of AAA games. Even comes with a bunch of difficulty levels. If you're into souls like games you'll probably be able to get into this. One of my top games for the year.

It's dark souls. If you like adventure games and haven't played it, you should play it.

Not as deep as dark souls, but close enough. Excellent class/ability system. Characters are all pretty interesting. Sidekicks make it kinda easy, but you can turn them off. If you like souls and anime aesthetic, you'll probably enjoy this. The character creation is near perfect, but it really needs more base clothing options.
