- Have wife - wife was not in bed chambers at bedtime – ‘spy’ on wife because sus - wife was caught cheating - Wife is pregnant = child is not ours and will not inherit a title / not in my dynasty = sad times

9 Months later...

Wife was not in bed chambers at bedtime - spy on wife - wife was seen cheating with same dude - Wife is pregnant = child is not ours and will not inherit a title / not in my dynasty = sad times x2

9 months later...

Wife was not in bed chambers at bedtime – decide to trust wife this time because idc – wife pregnant - confront wife this time and demand truth - wife says this child is mine and how dare I ask her such a thing = Wife loses 20 opinion points of me and is very angry = wtf are you kiddin’ me?

Another 9 or so months later...

Wife was not in bed chambers at bedtime – confront wife AGAIN – she caves and tells me the truth about cheating – aha.wav – tries to divorce wife because I cba with this – costs faith points to divorce – I have negative faith points = can’t divorce wife = ffs

Scheme to murder Wife because good riddance – 9% chance of success = damn – not happening is it then

This proceeded to happen until she died.

10 / 10 - Would recommend for headache

See the sun set….. the day is ending…… Let that yawn out…….. there’s no pretending…..

What. A. Game.

Story: 10/10
The story is absolute class, which is something I’ve already come to expect from a Kojima Game. Having played Metal Gear and really liking the settings and stories used there, I knew this would be no different and I was not wrong. Kojima always manages to create story’s which start with the player gaining about 100 different questions in the space of 20-30 minuets and then slowly unravel as you progress which is always immensely satisfying at the end, once everything is revealed and the puzzle pieces start fitting together. This game has exactly that, which was already evident from the trailer. I loved all of it, from the premise of the Death Stranding to the people who you meet in the world. Of particular importance was Mads Mikkelsen’s character and story arc which I thought was phenomenal throughout and loved every scene he was in. I also enjoyed Heartman and thought his story and input were great, quirky, and added some light humour which I thought worked well.

Gameplay: 10/10
Well, this one was always going to be hit and miss depending on the player. The deliveries never felt like boring fetch quests for me which was brilliant as it kept me immersed and a big part of that was the environmental setting which amazing. I loved evading or even fighting the BT’s which always added a sense of fear to the gameplay and was very welcome. Having the correct loadout and weight distribution for making trips also added to the sense of achievement I felt when I made a delivery and therefore, I never felt the task was boring or worthless. The MULES were also another great addition, providing a human NPC for me to either evade or attack and helped mix up gameplay and kept things fresh.

Soundtrack: 10/10
Again, Kojima has a great taste in music and always manages to fit the right tune in at the right moment. Music always has the chance to really make or break game and for this, it worked perfectly. From action scenes to the cut scenes I really rated it and it adds to everything.

Graphics: 10/10
Pretty outstanding graphics and I was able to run this at a solid frame rate (120-130fps) on max settings (Spec in profile). You have the option of enabling DLSS 2.0 if you own a Nvidia RTX card, but I did not need to enable it. I encountered no graphical glitches and no crashes so full points here.

Overall Score (in my own opinion): 10/10
I liked every scene in this game and had no complaints. Again, to reiterate, this is my opinion. We are all different and, in my case, I loved making deliveries and I especially loved the story and its cutscenes. I really cannot wait to see what game Kojima comes out with next.

TL:DR – It’s a shame that this came out when COD and Battlefield 1 did, because this game never stood a chance (I certainly forgot about it). Picking this up now on the Steam sale, is an absolute steal and I’m so glad I did.

Just a quick smol review! (My opinion!)

Story:
I actually really liked it. Solid moments and not too cliché like a lot of games tend to get when they can’t be asked to hire a good writer. It even managed to move me at one point which was unexpected but it goes to show that some level of attachment is there and that’s amazing in my books.

Gameplay:
I loved the Titan gameplay and how they integrated it through the story, mixing it up with boots on the ground to stomping and decimating fools on the ground with a mech was satisfying. What’s more is I didn’t think I’d like the platforming done here, but for some reason, perhaps because of the high-octane combat at points, never felt boring or tedious so I rated that.

Graphics:
Still pretty decent and achieved 144fps on max settings (Hardware on profile), albeit this game is not the most taxing on your hardware.

Multiplayer:
Not yet played the multiplayer but will update if/when I do.

Origin:
Sure, you have to get Origin to play this, but I did already have it just as I already have most clients installed so this was a non-issue.

Overall Score (Based on Story):
9/10
– Had some great moments and a very solid and decent single player experience.

Wow. Just wow. Hard to articulate my thoughts after playing through something like this, twice (at time of review), might I add.

(Disclaimer: I’m not good at writing reviews, there are plenty other reviews who do a much better job at explaining than me so read those as well)

Story:
From first play through, start to finish, I’d say the average completion time is around 10-11 hours. That’s what I got on my first play though (I didn’t read every single book and I’m sure I missed some stuff etc) and slightly longer time on my second playthrough. I know a fair amount of people like to run on the 1 hour = £$€ 1 mindset etc and I got this for £26.99 (see hours played at time of review above) and I plan to go through another playthrough soon (because of how many different choices you can make) so value for money is there 100%.

I really rate the story, the whole, robots working for us side of things was cool to watch unfold and how your direct decisions can affect the entire outcome of the situation. I’d like to go into more but if you are interested (and you like premise of robots / technology) your better off buying and becoming immersed in the world yourself, I personally don’t think your regret it.

Soundtrack:
The soundtrack compliments this game so well, from the dialogue scenes to the action scenes, it does such good of encapsulating the moment. I personally like Connor’s theme as it fits his character and has a sense of urgency. At time of review, I am currently listening to the OST on YouTube because I genuinely like this music.

Port:
This was a pretty decent port all things considered; I always get rather worried when I hear companies do ports of games on console etc, but it worked well. I must say, the graphics looked amazing and I was rather impressed with how they really added so much detail to a scene which further helped with immersion.

No frame rate issues on the 60fps option (I have a pretty decent spec PC) and very minor graphical hitches (faces and textures rarely not rendering in HD(?) and therefore sometimes looking a little bare and muddy etc) but that in no way affected my gameplay or immersion (and was fixable by restarting the game). My only complaint with the port (if you can even call it a complain it’s so minor and it could even be intentional) was that I’m guessing FX(?) like sparks and snow were (by the looks of it) locked at 30fps but it’s hardly a problem, just would have been nice to have everything running at the same fps. So, all in all hats off, this was a great port.

Overall:
This was an amazing world and story that Quantic Dream and the writers David Cage and Adam Williams developed, and I really *really* hope to see something like this again soon.

Score (for me):
10/10

- My plus key hurt my fingers

I mean, this review will fall into the thousands of 'Yes' recommendations, and yes, I mean thousands and for good reason.

If you are reading this review, you're likely some sadistic demon who likes reading Yes reviews of already popular games, in which case, Hi there, how you doin'?

This game needs no introduction and I’m not giving one.

TL:DR - Amazing Game! Papers Pleases younger brother (In other words, please buy if you liked Papers Please!!!)

Wow. What a game. This has filled much of the void that Papers Please had left.
Yes, the game plays much like Papers Please which is something I love so much about it.
The game is based in a Brexit Britain where those 'Euro' scum are being forced to work to keep a place in England.
And we get to play one of those mad lads who has a job as a 'bounceR' which by the way, fits in so well with Britain clubs.

Anyway, yadder yadder yadder, if you loved or even just liked Papers please, then (PLEASE) pick up this game and give it a play because so far, I can’t stop playing it.

TL:DR or Read the full review below!

Pros:
Worth full price!
Amazing story
Superb Gameplay
Spectacular sound track

Negatives:
Crashes atm (fix should be soon)

Conclusion: BUY THIS GAME NOW!

I..... cant...stop...playing...this.... game. Its so good and has me so hooked on the story im just amazed. Everything about this game is spectacular and you should get it now!

So first things first, this need to be a long review becuase this game deserves as much!

Gameplay:

Wow where do i start? First by saying and this is an important point: Nothing feels like a chore to do!
Litteraly everything you can do, feels fun and in 99.9% of cases, you want to do it which for me, is very important in a game as when it starts to feel boring and a game becomes a 'do this do that' i switch off so for this game to have me do something and ENJOY it is amazing.

Soundtrack:

Words can not describe how good the soundtrack in this game is. In someways i want the game to load longer just so i can hear the music during the loading screen. Its just that amazing, its also something you will have to hear for yourself to appreciate it. All the music in this game (and to quote a certain todd chap) just works.

Story:

Its been a while where a story has kept me hooked for as long as this game has and for me, thats saying something. At no point in this game did i feel the story was boring becuase there was always something to look foward to and to progress to and so i wanted to get to the next peice of it so i could understand whats happening. There are alot of moments in this game where you almost go 'what' because your starting to relise whats happening or what you have seen is something else entirely. When you go through the story, you will understand what i mean.

I must keep playing, this, is gods plan. *Inhales bliss*

Early Access Review
This game, words cannot describe how fantastic it is.

This is age of empires (ish) meets steam punk like art meets some other cool sh*t to make this sick game.

First of all and this this needs to be said, dont play this if your a casual scrub. This game is for the hardcare (Although the difficulty settings can be changed to easy, the defult is challenging ie, how the game was meant to be played and lowering this makes the game much less fun) and therefore will kick your backside when you mess up. This game requires you to think and be clever about where you place buildings and your defences as the horde could come from any direction.

It will, make you sweat.
It will make you think "sh*t, need MORE walls!'
And you will fail, alot.

My verdict, as you read this, you should be clicking buy and playing this game to death.

SCROLL DOWN FOR PROS AND CONS IF TLDR

For me, this game is still very high up on its story line. You will actualy feel like your in tajikistan as you wade through country side on foot or in humve. The tatic plays are decent with being able to place orders to your 3 AI team mates who, for the most part are actualy good other than a few slip ups here and there. Orders such as protect person, or if you need to defend an area, can order them to take a building and defend it by using windows to shoot out of and such.

It angers me when people say that they cant stand the guy talking in the ride all the time because for me personally that just adds to the realism (now i have never joined the army) but i assume this is close to what it felt like during those times. Also people say that they cant stand the long humve drives, and again this for me plays a big part in actualy feeling like i'm traveling to my destination insted of 'skipping to the location'. If you have patience, you will love this.

TL:DR This game will provide hours of enjoyment <<<

Pros:
Storyline
Tactics
Very Good AI for its time
Realistic

Negatives:
Can feel clunky at times
Appeals to certain people
You need patience!
