Chiptune breakdowns and double bass just sold this game to me second time.

Whomever did the music deserve mad props.

PIXELATED TITTIES!

But in all seriousness, I guess I'll give it a pass. It's a solid foundation, and can be quite fun. The visuals are also great.

They made items weigh so little, that I can freely hoard anything I see. Just like back in the days in Gothic.

Thanks for that.

I'm kinda struggling with this one.

I liked the survival part: has everything I like.

I didn't like exploration: world is empty, feels like a desert *badum-tss*. Enshrouded (despine not being a AAA blockbuster) has so much better world-building.
And I don't like that if I drop out for some time, my base gets deleted :)

Surprisingly, yes.

The game initially drove me away with all of the "sand" locations in the promo materials.
But hey, it's deck13, authors of my beloved Surge and LotF, so why not give it a chance?

Turned out, there is much more than just sands in the game. And while I hate that there are only 3 weapons in the game (which is a crime imo), the game is pretty satisfying and addictive, and the story is enough to keep you going.

P.S. It's beautiful/

Yep, definitely a vibe. Would love to see more of this but with other settings like Hobbits, Elves, etc.

It was surprisingly short.

But it was worth the money. Just buy it, get to mining!

The game still feels like proof of concept rather than a finished game... I know it's EA, but I'd say it's VERY early EA.

Now THAT'S how you do a game. Narrative is at its core, with the game mechanics strongly supporting it.
The story is good and captivating, the mechanics are keeping me on edge without the ability to just farm the sh*t out of it and kick back and relax. Something always happens, I really have to run around fixing things.

I love it. And I'd say the price is low, actually, for the quality we receive.

When joining server, it crashes Steam, and in a couple secs, it just freezes and crashes itself, taking 20+gb RAM and leaking further.

Unplayable.
