Chat messages that speak ill of China or about anything the CCP doesn't like will not send because of "harmful content", you can write "USA sucks" but not "China sucks" for example.

Also NetEase Games, so I expect this game to get either abandoned after 3-4 years or get heavily riddled with microtransactions and a predatory battle pass.

Otherwise the game is fun, even though the overall polish feels more like a mobile game than a fully fledged PC/Console MOBA. Also balancing sucks, but that's expected for at least the first months.

Intercept Games? Private Division being sold? Kerbal Space Program 2? What are you talking about, there is no sequel! Now hop on KSP, download MechJeb and build some janky rockets, it'll be fun!

The game sucks, period. Everything feels cheap, from the bad sound design, to the bad controls, to the terrible in-game voice chat, to the abysmally bad animation, this game is not even something you play "for fun". My group of friends thought we could try it for fun and play with 5 people, but in the end, NOTHING in the game worked the way it was supposed to.

The animations of the monsters are very choppy, you can still hear dead players in the game, the voice chat only overrides the smallest things, you get stuck everywhere and the characters move as if they were made of jelly.

The fact that there is a "TikTok Safe Mode" in the options and that this game is being promoted as the "Next Big Thing" on TikTok and Instagram says it all. Oh yeah, the developer probably also neglected his older game from last year to release this "product".

You're better off buying Lethal Company, Phasmophobia, Murky Divers, Ghost Watchers, Content Warning, or any other established title with a developer who cares more about the game than "getting it out and then fixing it for a few weeks".

Early Access Review
World of Gooncraft is an absolutely amazing game that already offers a ton of stuff in Early Access! It's probably because that's like an official release now, and the closed beta was going on for a while already! You have three basic classes with a unique kit, multiple overworld areas with various enemies and loot drops, fashion endgame and just a social sandbox!

But wait, there's more! The Eldergoons Online also offers an incredible character editor that will let your wildest fantasies come true! Get ready to show off those big busts, big butts, and brace yourself for fat girl autumn! But don't worry, if you're not into that kind of thing, no problem: You can just disable those jiggly bits and weird proportions in the options menu. It's a blast, and it's not just for furries!

And now for the best part: the online multiplayer of Final Goonery XIV: A Goon Reborn is incredibly fun, simple and doesn't feel like a big MMO at all. It feels like an amazing, comfy round of D&D with friends or likeminded strangers! The best part is you don't have to do dungeon raids, bosses, and the like together. You can just join a server and do your own thing at your own pace. Or you can find a small group to help you with quests or just hang out with them!

I fully recommend Goon Wars: The Coomer Republic to anyone who loves games like this! It's also perfect for people who want to play a more laid-back RPG/MMO-esque experience with friends, without being thrown into a big, already established MMO.

I'll rate it a 7/10 and can't wait how the game will evolve! Also Angela will be the next Toriel.

Early Access Review
Amazing game. Really sets itself apart from the HL1 inspired start and atmosphere very quickly and turns into a nice mystery mixture of HL1, SCP-Foundation and their own thing. It's really fun to just explore and read the lore.

One of the best surprise releases of 2024 and also amazingly optimized in co-op with a lot of content available and being put in the game with every big update.

But you can't ruin a casserole... So it only gets a 9/10

A fine game if you're a fan of the dev, otherwise it's a meh at best

Amanita Design has better games in their catalog that are more interactive, have a longer playtime and don't rely on the "I'm 14 and this is edgy" shock value, which to be fair is probably the main selling point of this game, but all of that falls flat if it's really just for the shock value and not really a story. Maybe there is a story or deeper meaning, but all I could figure out was childhood "trauma" and how it felt for the child versus how it looked in real life. But I'm open to suggestions as to what the story and images mean. Also the game is very short, within 2 hours you can get 100% if you didn't miss any achievements on your first playthrough.

But let's not dwell on the negative aspects and say something positive! Something I enjoyed and kind of expected was the creativity! Although I do not really like the "edgy" stuff without any real meaning, they went all out and made some pretty sickly designed monsters and scenery! The overall "puzzles" are simple but fun and some of the random stuff this game throws at you was actually unexpected! The game allows you to replay all parts of the game after finishing it, giving you easy access to scenes where you might have missed an achievement.

The game is divided into 3 chapters. The second one was my favorite because of the tonal clash of the colorful scenery and the actual gruesome stuff that happens during it. Chapter 1, despite being an introduction, felt the weakest, and that's really not a good thing, as it should draw people in to play more of your game.

Also, please... PLEASE don't hide an achievement behind a terrible physics system!
