Happy system pride day! We just wanted to explain the term we coined a little bit more to clear up confusion: it wasn't made to replace traumagenic, it was just a term for us to focus more on the positive aspects of systemhood and accept it better, instead of focusing on the trauma. Being more accepting of our system and focusing more on working as a team to get through life together has been great, especially since we no longer have a therapist. And it's mostly for funsies- no intention of replacing traumagenic or making a new serious label, just a small thing that helps us to cope and have acceptance with ourselves. The pronunciation for helpanothergenic is just Help and Another with -Genic put together, but teamgenic is way easier!
