But what really stands out about Ahmed is how he notices the details. Sigh... Like, you could mention some random thing you like weeks ago, and out of nowhere, he’ll show up with it, saying, “Thought you’d find this cool.” Smile... Sigh... And yeah, sometimes it’s not all deep and meaningful...
Ahmed isn’t perfect, though. Sigh... He’ll flake on plans sometimes, and when he does show up, he’s probably late, but somehow, you never really mind. Smile-sigh... Because once he’s there, he makes everything feel more alive. Sigh... He’s not someone you rely on for consistency, but that’s not why you’re friends in the first place. Smile-sigh... He’s just... Ahmed. And that’s more than enough..
