This game is completely underrated and not talked about enough. It brings a whole new take on the FPS genre, refreshes old memories and gameplay from the original Doom, and makes you feel like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ badass all the while. For adrenaline junkies looking for a new take on an old genre, or anyone tired of stock standard games as of late, this is a MUST-HAVE.

Stunning.

While the download time is ridiculous (13 hours for me, with 2 manual interventions required), and despite the performance issues (that I believe and hope will be ironed out in the near future), this game is an absolute masterpiece. This game, no matter how basic it may seem on the surface, is one of the most captivating experiences in gaming I've ever played. Thank the truly decade ahead technology behind the game along with the amazing graphics, impressive backbone and *buttery* controls make this a truly great game. It feeds every little bit of curiousity you have left in your mind, and lets you toy with it in a way that has never been publically available. It's a visually stunning masterpiece of art that I firmly believe will keep my coming back for years to come. 10/10. I really hope for the future of this game, as it is some of the most promising technology I've ever seen.

Amazing gameplay, holds up with its storytelling, suspense, and action elements to this day, despite being 22 years old. 10/10, amazing experience and an even better way to launch the Half Life story arc.
