Early Access Review
I can't recommend this game just yet. Having not played The Sims for nearly a decade (remember when Sims 4 launched without toddlers and pools?), I was initially hopeful about Inzoi.

Graphics and Performance: On my 3070ti, the game runs adequately but often experiences stuttering, especially when switching between Zois that aren't near each other. The graphical style feels off—aiming for realism, it instead delivers a strange, doll-like or plastic appearance. A more stylized approach, somewhere between Sims 4 and Inzoi's current state, would greatly enhance the visual appeal.

Gameplay: Gameplay is limited, as expected from a freshly launched early access game. However, given the enthusiastic buildup from others, I anticipated more content. Walking around as my Zoi and using a car feels good, though the rest of the activities remain sparse and repetitive.

World Design: The world feels empty, with very little interaction available. Relationships progress too easily, yet even on the fastest setting, the overall pace feels sluggish.

Bugs: Bugs are plentiful but understandable for early access. Mostly graphical issues, which should improve with updates.

Game-Breaking Issues: Unfortunately, I've encountered two severe issues ruining the experience. Firstly, the save functionality does not work at all. Clicking save, "save as," or relying on autosave achieves nothing—once the game closes, my progress disappears entirely.

Downloads also have serious issues; initially, they didn’t function at all. Now, downloaded content appears until restarting the game, then vanishes. Storage space isn't the issue—my SSD handles other games perfectly.

Overall: The game has potential but currently feels more like a recurring beta test due to critical issues like saving and downloads. While it could eventually become a solid competitor to The Sims, I'd strongly advise waiting several months for essential fixes and content additions. Additionally, there are broader concerns given the trends seen in many Korean game releases, where the focus tends to heavily lean towards high-quality graphics or monetization strategies at the expense of gameplay depth and longevity—seen in examples like Lost Ark's steep decline from over a million concurrent players to just a fraction today. Although Inzoi isn't free-to-play, similar patterns of prioritizing aesthetics over gameplay depth could potentially hinder its long-term appeal. It's promising, but it's just too early to jump in without caution.

Game is finally worth the money, not much to say... What was promised is 2 years late but it is here now. If we are reviewing just the game it's worth the purchase especially seeing as hello games has said they have more free updates in the works.

It is a great game to unwinding with and losing yourself in.

Bought the game last night and have around 3 hours played. Very fun game that owners of VR headsets would be foolish not to pick up at the price point. My only complaint is I wish there was more songs and maybe a level between hard and expert.

Expect is a major jump, I could A~S all the Hard levels in the game off the bat leaving expert all that is challenge, but the jump on some of the songs from hard to expert is brutal.
