I hope my manager doesn't find out that Ropuka only needs 3 seconds of rest between shifts, or else I might be out of a job here pretty soon

Game gives me Task™️.
Task™️ is simple, but takes a long time.
I can take as long as I want to finish Task™️.
When Task™️ is done I feel accomplished, and I move to the next Task™️.
Game makes me feel like less of a failure.
Thanks, Game. :)

I haven't experienced any of the notorious server issues, but I do have other headaches with this one.
The game's camera has a slow but constant drift to the upper-right of the screen (I don't even have a controller plugged in).
The game doesn't preserve my custom keybindings when I close and reopen.
Until these things are fixed, I'm not interested.

It's alright I suppose, for getting a fix for some casual games in between paper EDH games with my play-group. I definitely prefer this format when playing certain decks (I hate keeping track of +1/+1 counters IRL). Just please don't spend any real-life money on this thing.

An interesting game dripping with style, including fantastic art, music, and characters. The 'type effectiveness' combat is pretty simple, the story's length leaves you wanting more, and the game's final boss is way more challenging than the rest of the game's enemies would lead you to believe. Despite this, I still enjoyed myself and had a lot of fun. So this gets a thumbs-up from me!

Edit: This game feels right at home when played on Steam Deck.

People only like this game because there's a cat. The game only takes a couple hours to finish, and this is too short for its price tag. There's nothing to do but jump on things. Your companion has too much exposition. It's not even open world, it's actually pretty linear and the puzzles are child-like difficulty. The writers didn't make the ending the way I wanted it to be. It has game-breaking bugs that don't let you finish the story.

Just kidding I actually love this game because I watched reviews and read critiques to properly set my expectations before purchasing it, rather than buying something because of online hype.

It took me many years and at least 3 serious attempts to get into Fallout New Vegas, but I just couldn't. I don't know why.

Maybe my minor frustrations with individual things like the playdough-puke graphics, equipment durability rate, and over-sensitive fame/infamy karma -- though each tolerable on their own -- made for an unenjoyable experience when pooled together. And it's unfortunate, because these things stopped me from getting lost in the story.

This time around something clicked, and not only did the game make more sense to me but I had a blast on my first 'real' playthrough. I now love Fallout New Vegas, and I see why it's a classic.

Be aware, though, that this game has a reputation for being buggy/crashy. There are well-documented methods for patching and fixing its many bugs and quality-of-life issues with modding, etc. And yes, the graphics are pretty damn ugly. But if you can look past that, there's a fantastic story waiting for you.
