Funniest, most accurate representation of being a teenage millennial in high school. It's absurd and somewhat nostalgic, like the feeling you get when you visit your old high school after 10 years and receiving a wave of memories of things that make you go "wow, I can't believe they made me go here as a child". The building felt like a prison, some of the people made your life hell, maybe you made someone else's life hell too. Regret, disdain, relief that it's all behind you; and yet underneath it all a strange acceptance that yes, this was a real place, and yes, we really did talk that way. And yes, you probably deserved that suspension, you were kind of a ♥♥♥♥ back then. Glad you grew out of it.

What was I saying? Oh, the game is good. Rent it at blockbuster or family video if youre poor.

In a day, I snorted a bag of coke while doing 3 shifts on the hyper line, went home for a nap, shipped a medium batch of marijuana, ran from the cops, bought some lottery tickets, cleaned up graffiti for somebody, found out what "candyflipping" means, struck out with a guy on tinder, went to a club, took as many shots as my inventory could hold, tipped the stripper, and went home to prepare for my next shift.

decent life sim, 7/10

Play it for the song that plays over the credits. It has no right to slap so hard. Unf.

I only recommend the game if you're a hardcore picross connoisseur like myself.

The puzzles themselves are a little underwhelming if you're used to playing Jupiter's Picross series, but the cute artstyle and my down badness for Jena kept me from dropping the game, even though it really drags in the last act. The last case alone took about half of my playtime, and I had stopped being invested in the plot after the boat murder was wrapped up.

pros:
-picross is fun
-cute artstyle
-investigating crime scenes is fun

cons:
-the plot starts to drag in the last act

6/10 best visual novel picross game I've ever played.

This game is pretty bad. It's tedious and plodding, with terrible combat and no plot. The game ends so anti-climactically that I had to look up a guide just to be sure I didn't just get a game over. The game is so buggy too. Instead of listing pros and cons, here are just some bugs that I had to deal with throughout my playthrough:

-Enemies would sometimes clip into the ground or float away when killed
-I have my settings set to Fullscreen 1080p, but whenever I started the game, it would start in windowed mode in some other aspect ratio, so I had to reset my resolution settings every time I turned it on.
-Audio on the left speaker went out during one of the cutscenes
-Audio output changed from speakers to headphones for some reason while the game was paused
-Hitting "Resume" from the main menu would load up a save from way earlier in the game than when I left off. had to use the "Load Game" option to load the most recent save.

I'm sure there's more, but that's all I really care to list. Save your money.

Such a fantastic game. The perfect mix of fast-paced gunplay with a fluid and intuitive movement system, and mech combat that leaves you feeling like a screaming metal death machine. The single-player campaign has some of my favorite levels in any fps game, "Trial By Fire" being a real standout. Honestly the most fun I've had in an FPS in a long time.

PROS:
>Gorgeous, varied environments
>Fluid and fast movement system making platforming feel better than even Mirror's Edge
>Gameplay that's the perfect mix of Doom's fast-paced action with Call of Duty's military ballistics
>Stellar single-player campaign through inventive and challenging levels
>Incredibly fun multiplayer with various game types like deathmatch, capture-the-flag, command posts, etc.

CONS:
>campaign is a bit short and can be platformer heavy in certain parts
>Multiplayer has a high skill ceiling so new players might get discouraged by getting absolutely sand-bagged early on.

Overall, this game was a standout from the slow-paced, cover-based shooters of the early 10's. A true underappreciated gem of a video game. Titanfall 2 walked so that Apex Legends could run. If you like multiplayer games like CoD:4, or if you like single player games like DOOM(2016), then this game is for you.

It's an idea with a lot of potential, but lacks enough substance to be really notable. The plot's a bit shallow and gameplay involves avoiding one of four enemy types while walking forward through the same hallway over and over again. Replaying the game for all the endings is a breeze, and there are no real revelations to be had after seeing all three endings and unlocking all four branching paths.

PROS:
-spooky visuals
-decent voice acting

CONS:
-no substance
-too short to justify the $14.99 pricetag

Can only recommend if it's highly discounted.
