I bullyed a gay girl into being straight

I'm often utterly sickened by the Western-made, "subversive" ironic visual novels and media flooding the market lately. There's so much trash. This game, however, gives the biggest middle finger to all expectations of a game and you as a person.

Visual novels don’t have to be heartfelt or profound all the time, nor do they have to come from Japan (take that, pretentious weebs). This game can be both funny and serious, though it doesn’t balance those tones perfectly. 

The plot is all over the place, which adds to the confusion and feels authentic to the teenage experience. There are flashes of actual humanity in the characters, but not enough to become attached to any of them. I think that’s the charm—the characters wouldn’t care if you did.
Not all problems can be solved by adults, and not all problems can be solved by you. Sometimes, you're just self-destructive because you're hurting inside. 

This game doesn’t teach you anything or tell you how to deal with those feelings. It just shows people who choose to live life like this. It's based on real stories. 

It’s great if you have pent-up feelings. You can watch someone essentially destroy their life before it begins and be almost completely content with it. Not all people would like it, since there no story to teacher rather just entertain and you could look into deeper meaning but...

That being said, this story was exceptional for me since it brought back memories of my high school, even though I did well in class, and, at 18, I was practically too young to remember anything from the 2000s, and most importantly, I wasn't even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ American. This was just a great novel and a reminder that I am so messed up LOL Defo gonna play the first and second game in its entirety! You should to, if you want to be low-key traumatised again.
