Combat in this game is so bad. It's super clunky and not much of an improvement from the first game. Side quests are boring af; menial tasks like fetch me some stupid thing from another village or carry these heavy objects at a snails pace to some other place nearby. There is too much travelling as well, and it's not an exciting world to explore. It's just endless forest and the occasional wolf or bandit encounter here and there. Maybe main story becomes more insteresting after a while. And at least the dice game is kinda fun.

Played PCM 2006 ages ago. Came back to the series and it still has all the same faults it used to. Absolute piece of crap game.

Facial expressions and body movements look awkward, the dialogue feels like it might have been written in a different language and translated using software, the voice acting is unconvincing. Gameplay is just basic quick time events like you might see in a Quantic Dream or Telltale game, which I don't mind personally, but a game like that needs strong story and dialogue to carry it, and this game does not have that.

Amazing game that has improved a lot since its release. There are so many different classes and types of builds you can do. I've spent hours in the character creation alone. The quality of the writing is a bit inconsistent but overrall the main story and characters are very good.

The combat is good, although I personally prefer more tactical combat, like in BG3 or DOS2. The combat in Wrath of the Righteous is more about knowing the game and having the right buffs. There is a mod you can install that helps with prebuffing that is a must have.
