Early Access Review
Yeah. The movement feels absolutely incredible, and to to top it off, it works incredibly well as a horror experience.

The most compact deckbuilder I've ever played. Astragali left me wanting more, asking questions, and feeling guilty for wanting more in the first place. Incredible.

I adore this game. There's so much love put into every inch of gameplay, every mechanic, it just oozes charm all the way. Everything is so tactile, it's amazing.

I guess I'm pretty sentimental when it comes to inanimate objects, because after a few hours I found myself apologizing out loud when I swerved into a tree and damaged my car's bumper, poor thing.

If you've ever watched 2012 and thought "I wonder if I could drive like that" this game lets you do that, and also the car is your best friend, and also the storm is personally angry at you (and your friend).

It also has some of the best accessibility and difficulty settings I've ever seen in a game, every source of damage can be adjusted with multipliers, car deterioration can be tuned down or up, the difficulty can exist on a spectrum from "the tale of the invincible car" to "how The Brittle One and their glass chariot shattered."

I wish steam would exclude the recent negative reviews as off-topic, considering this game's rating is significantly lower because a lot of people can't fathom that other people are different than them.

I haven't felt the woes that others had playing the game. The core gameplay loop doesn't really innovate on itself as you continue to progress, but driving through the anomalous pacific northwest doesn't get old for me anytime soon. You can even add your own music to the radio, and let me tell you, there's almost no game that's made me feel the same as when Edward 40 Hands by Mom Jeans comes blasting on as you try to drive to a giant pillar of light in the distance as the radioactive storm encroaching on you roars closer and closer. Plus, if you start to dread getting resources to craft things, you can literally go into the settings and set multipliers for crafting costs.

Love it.

You're a one man army in a constant flow state single-handedly dismantling the military industrial complex. Awesome.

Invaluable tool for pixel art. Adobe level quality, but you pay once and you get to keep using it.

This is everything I've ever wanted from an RPG game. Character stories, fulfilling combat, real meaningful choices. It's one of the best games I've ever played, and certainly the best RPG you can buy. No regrets paying full price for this, the amount of content is staggering.

"Orgasmic" is the only way to describe what it feels like to block a burst.
