valve is investing a lot to improve linux support of games and claims that all games on steam will run on the steam deck (on linux). i don't believe that 100% will work perfectly, but most. this is another huge step for linux gaming
The irony is that if you browse the app data files, you can see that it uses qt5 libraries. Funnily enough qt5 has good Linux support and in fact a lot of desktop environments in Linux rely heavily on qt5 libraries, so it wouldn't be that hard to get the UI part of this app ported over to Linux.
