Unpopular opinion: I prefer this FF VII Remake over original.

The first time I played original FF VII, I tried it and... found it HORRENDOUS. I started very late in the franchise, in my adulthood, so I don't have the nostalgia of classic FFs from childhood nor youth. That's why I didn't like the original. Besides, I enjoyed other games and other JRPGs in that time, I suppose that's the reason I'm not attached to it.

But now I'm finally playing which is to me the best version of the game, I find it funny the emo looking of the protagonist, Cloud, like a K-Pop idol, LoL xD. I don't hate it, it's just funny.

Anyway, I'm enjoying it. Technically is beautiful, very fluid, at 60 FPS, 4K and in my case, with a 120 Hz OLED TV and a RTX 3080 I don't have any FPS drops nor stutters. Fun gameplay and combat mechanics. I also love the noir style in the city of Midgar.

I hope Rebirth falls on Steam sooner than later when the exclusivity deal with Playstation ends.
