So I bought this game (remaster) when it released back in 2018. Back then I started playing it, played for a few hours but then life caught up with me. I just recently started playing it on stream, I was going to do a full playthrough when I got a random bug (invisible wall in gaia's naval. It was annoying but I figured out I could use the sword charge to jump past it. No biggie I thought,

Then I couldn't enter the dwarves workshop after seeing the money scam scene. I tried so many different ways of getting past it, though maybe I missed something so went back to forest area to check if I missed a talking scene prompt. No the game just would not get past that scene. Then I decided to start the game over, I wasn't very far in, but then on my next playthrough... it happened again. I give up on this game. The sprites look good, love the in game voice work, and I was looking forward to doing a playthrough, but ill stick to the original version if this buggy remaster is my other option. Dissapointed as this is one of my top 3 favorite RPGs of all time. You would think after being out for 6 years all these major bugs would be fixed by now. But checking the game discussion boards, looks like many people are still fighting bugs all over the place. Plus apparently no cannon travel animation... SMH.

If your looking for a different type of survival sandbox game, you should give Raft a try. Get a few of your friends together or find some online players to play with and jump in. This game features a unique waterworld style of play, where you begin on a simple raft surrounded by ocean with a hook line used to gather resources. Survive the turbulent ocean waters, find islands, ships, and eventually full settlements while gathering resources to expand your raft. I will be rating the game on 5 criteria, Replay Value, Game Play, Sound Effects, Multiplayer, and Sandbox System.

Replay Value : 4/5 🎩 - Sandbox games are never single run type games, so making sure your game wants you to return is important. If the game is mostly a big grind with very few adventure or discovery features, then it get bland quickly. Raft has a good balance of early discovery and adventure system.

Game Play: 4/5 🎩 Is the game easy to play, smooth, and/or buggy? The game starts you off quickly and for those who have no experience playing sandbox games, it is quite easy to learn what to do. The game is also very smooth, combat is overall okay, but occasionally visual bugs and placement bugs do occur as in most sandbox type games. But they don't break the game in my personal experience.

Sound Effects: 3/5 🎩 The background music and ambient sounds are quite relaxing for the most part. But the animal sounds, water sounds, and event the default volume of most sounds can get annoying. I usually have my background sounds set around 20% and Game sounds around 50% personally.

Multiplayer: 4/5 🎩 Is the game easy to play online? Yes. Is it better to play with others? Yes. Is it necessary to do multiplayer? No. But the game does seem to want players to play together and makes resource gathering and exploring more fun.

Sandbox System: 3/5 🎩 - The unique aspect of building on the water is something interesting. There are land elements to the game, but for the first major part of the game, you live on the high seas. If you don't enjoy it right off the bat, it could be difficult to enjoy the game. But overall the sandbox system works well and the biggest issue I have is the building systems are quite basic and could have done more, but the game is still good.

Overall Score: 3.7/5 🎩 - I give this game a 3.5~4 total, the game is fun, good for a group of friends or for solo adventuring. You will definitely get your money's worth in play time with this game. I have played it for 20 hours or during the early access and will be jumping back into the game for the 1.0 release. If you get this game on any kind of sale it is also worth the value.

Hey everyone, if you enjoy a good fun ARPG with roguelite elements, funny dialogue, and a wonderful art style you need to check out Dandy Ace. Let's go into what you have to look forward to:

Dandy Ace is an 2.5D Action RPG game where you take the role of Dandy Ace, the world's greatest magician, who is trapped in a cursed mirror world by his unbeknownst greatest rival, Lele the Green Eyed Illusionist. Sent to this world with only your assistantts Jenny Jenny and Jolly Jolly, you use your deck of powerful card tricks and trinkets to make your way through this mirror world and find a way to escape. Along the way you battle various minions monsters and even find help from Nnif a bunny who is out to turn a profit. Will Ace be able to escape this mirror world?

Combat in the game is using 3 various types of Card Types;
Pink Cards: Combat cards which have various attacks such as 5 of a Kind (5 Card Cone Attack), Dancing Wands (Single Target attack that bounces to nearby enemies) or Titan's Punch (Melee range stunning fist attack).
Yellow Cards: Utility Cards which have various offensive or defensive attacks and CC (Crowd Control) effects. These vary from combat effects stun, charm, weaken, and more effects and also various defensive effects such as barriers, invulnerability and shields.
Blue Cards: Movement Cards which give you either a dash or blink movement ability. These abilities also have various secondary effects from ground effects, CC, and damage effects.

Using these various cards you use them to create Primary and Secondary card type combos. Primary Cards use the ability of the specific card and Secondary Cards add effects to primary card attacks. For example; Dancing Wands throws a wand which hits a target then bounces to nearby targets. Attach Toxic Spray to make these wands do poison damage or attach Bubble Trouble to add exploding bubble damage on all your wands. With so many cards there are a large amount of combinations to give people various ways to play.

Replay Value: The main story-line plays through the story of ace, but once you find your way out of the mirror world on the normal setting, the game includes various difficulties for Hard, Very Hard, and Nightmare mode. So you can get hours upon hours of fun so the replay value is high.

Twitch Mode: The game also includes a twitch mode which allows audience participation in twitch chat. Your audience takes control of Lele and can cause various effects which make the game more difficult by summoning additional enemies, using card tricks, or even giving you a special cupcake. You can also add a twitch assist mode to have your non lele players help you by giving you additional healing cupcakes or random buffs. They can choose maps and cards for you as well, which can make your game easier or feel like Houdini's upside down water escape (very hard and deadly ;) )

Game Ratings: Rating of 1-5 (lowest to hightest) Tophat!
Overall Fun: 5 Tophats The game is overall a great experience, more elements could be added but considering it was an indie game, its well made and polished quite well. But if the game adds more features in the future such as public leaderboards or in-game challenges then it would easily be a 5/5!

Graphics: 4 Tophats Love the artstyle and vibrant colors. I also especially enjoy the non-gorey combat which is common in many other ARPGs. Only thing that would make it a 5 would be graphics settings to accommodate people with lower system builds.

Audio Quality: 5 Tophats The background music is fun and is enjoyable to listen to while playing. The voice overwork is really well made and the voice actor for Lele (who also did many of the other male voices) really gave the characters a personality of their own.

Replay Value: 5 Tophats You can play this game for hours and hours. For a $20 price tag, you get a lot of value for this game. If you equate the value of a game to time playing, then this game would be worth thousands of dollars.

So yes, this game is really great, I was a tester for the game and did receive a copy for free, however I would easily have purchased this game regardless. But I played this game for many hours before release and since have been enjoying the full release with all in-game elements. I recommend this game for people who love fun fast paced action type games and want something less bloody and dark and more Dandy.
Thanks for reading this review and please give a thumbs up if you enjoyed it or found it helpful or useful.

I started playing No Mans Sky a few months before the Next update. I wanted the game cause i like survival games with co-op features. However prior to next that was not an option. But when i heard about the next update I started playing so I could be prepared to get my friends into the game. After next the game has a lot of fun features that make the game a great solo or co-op experience. The storyline is interesting, not in a bad way, but very unique. I totally recommend this game to players who are looking to have fun exploring, building, and survivng in a world where resources are key.

Don't be fooled by my hours on played on steam... I have been playing this game on and off since its beta release.

I wanted to take the time to give people who are still looking for an MMO to play a chance to try this game out. However, I don't want to describe this game in a manner of its pro's and con's. Instead I want to talk a little about why I have played this game for so long. My main character is Diedrek, a Heroic Completionist on the Sarlona server, which means I have played him from in game class levels from 1-20 for each class in the game. For those who have never played DDO, there is a mechanic in the game which allows you to reincarnate your character once he has reach max level back to level 1, but you get to choose a new class, keep all your equipment, and even get a small stat buff for the first 2 times you do this. However there is no limit to how many times you can do this, but it does require more experience points to get back to max level. I have been playing my main for years and have enjoyed the game with family members, real life friends, and online friends. I used to play World of Warfract, Ragnarok Online, Ultima Online, Star Wars Galaxies, and have since played many newer MMO's as well, but something about Dungeons and Dragons Online always has me coming back. The community of players is great, but you need to find the right playstyle for you. As this game has been around for so long, many players are completionsts making powerlevel runs to max level or zergers who are wanting to run dungeons as quickly as possible. I however usually play solo or with small groups to enjoy clearing dungeons completely. I want anyone who takes the time to read this to understand that there are many new players still in Dungeons and Dragons online, many who are always looking for friends and allys to play with, and many experience veteran players who are willing to help teach and explore the world at a pace you find comfortable. I hope you find yourself learning and exploring this game and all it has to offer, but if you can't don't take it personally, each MMO is designed for types of people and developers of DDO do their best to keep their player base happy with content and updates to keep the game as fresh as possible. So pick up your swords and join us on Dungeon and Dragons Online.

I recently bought borderlands 2 when it went on sale a while ago and it made me miss what I loved about borderlands one. Since I got them both together I might start playing this game again. It really was one of those Whoa Dude! games.

I have really enjoyed playing the King's Bounty Series, I am currently playing on Insanity and loving it. If you have the bucks to spare on a game, I recommend this game for people who love tactics games, a lot of reading, and good old fashions top view graphics.
