Game started crashing on launch on 3rd day of playing. Not sure how I feel about a game that cost me over $70... whilst on sale... that is already crashing on launch.
It seems to have sorted itself out for now and it is fun to play, I love the similarities to Starship Troopers.
Progress is a little slow for those of us that can't sit and play for 12 hours a day but that's how they try to hook people I guess.
Game seemed good at start but after more play time I find myself just getting angry at it, and I almost never get angry at games so that's saying something.
The grind is terrible, reduce the difficulty so you can solo a mission then the next one is way too easy, then the next is impossible.... even on easy. enemies just keep coming non stop and the piddly amount of ammo you can carry is not enough.
It might be different if you have people to play with but solo it is a terrible game.
Also it still crashes and locks up my whole computer, sometimes on launch, sometimes on exit.

I've had this since day 1 and have kept coming back to play when a new update came out, overall I have been pretty happy with the game and was super stoked when they added mounts. Was really looking forward to the Age of Sorcery update, then found out they stuffed it with in game purchases and a battle pass.
I guess this is another game I can delete from my library.
I should have learned when Funcom made my master subscription void in the Secret World, burn me once shame on you, burn me twice shame on me. Never buying another Funcom game again.

Not without it's bugs and issues but still a great game.
Cons:
Some annoying bugs, most could be fixed with a simple game reload.
3 crashes to desktop (in 200hrs game time, not terrible but not good either).
Pros:
Amazing soundtrack.
Amazing story (had more than one tear jerk moment).
Entertaining for 200hrs and I'm excited to do 2nd playthrough.

TLDR:
Overall good game, as stated above I was entertained for 200hrs of play time for one play through and I'm excited to do a 2nd as I didn't finish all the Gig side quests. Needs some fixing but I'm confident CDPR will get to it and if the list of dlc's for Witcher 3 is anything to go by I'm excited to see where they take this.

Still needs some work but it's already very enjoyable. 7.5/10
I don't know why some others have complained about crashes my friend and I haven't had any and we've been playing for 12 hours. Can't wait for some updates!

I think this is the first time I've left a review on steam, it's gotten so bad on here and I'm so sick of developers not finishing their products. This had so much potential and the developers could have made MUCH more money if they had done it right but the quick cash grab seems to be the chosen path these days. I haven't even played for a full hour yet because it was so bad when I first got the game back in May 2016, yeah that's right I've had it from the month after it released and not even one hour of play time, why you ask? Because it was terrible when I first played it and now I can't even play because it just crashes. I look at the recent update notes and it's all the same thing: hotfix, hotfix hotfix etc etc. this seems to be the new thing many early access developers do to try and make it look like the game is being worked on regularly and who knows maybe someone is working on it but if 3 YEARS of "HOTFIXES" can't fix the game maybe next time get a working prototype out before taking people's money?
And now time for the inevitable pun: avoid like the plague....

Tree Of Life (referred to as ToL) is a great little game where you can make or join a guild, collect resources, build and fight!
You start out with the bare minimum as most games do these days in a survival scenario and you must make your way in the world. The mechanics seem fair overall and I thoroughly enjoy this title. There are systems in place to help reduce theft and murder in the game such as being marked as a criminal for extended periods of time and then if you are killed while marked as such you will lose experience points AND drop all of your gear. One suggestion I would make to the developers if you happen to read this though is maybe look at reducing personal upkeep like the hunger bar in my opinion goes down too fast. To counter balance this you might slow the rate at which the hunger bar goes down and make crops take longer to grow? Other than that I am loving this game so far and I hope the developers keep up the good work!

Good game overall however it was a pain at times when the controls seemed quite sluggish and non-responsive.
Was clearly a console game ported to PC. Ran into a couple of bugs also where after jumping through a window while running with a friendly NPC I was thrown back out of the building and had no choice but to reload checkpoint maybe 4-5 times.
Very short also finished in around 6 hours. Will be a higher score if more chapters are released.

Had lots of potential however my friend could not join my game and yes ports were forwarded properly. While I was waiting for him to try and get in the game I was killed by some big beast repeatedly. Kills me, I respawn kills me again, respawn, kills me etc etc. Could not get away from it, could not kill it could not do anything. LAME
