It may not look great (never has), it might have everything in the game squeezed though the limited amount of dilithium you can refine per day (ugh), but i still love it.

Epic. Replayable over and over...and over.

Game was on sale for $10 and has lots of players so I figured I'd give it a shot.
Spent the first hour of play on single player to get an idea of what was going on. I've played other survival games and this was much like the rest of the genre so I moved on to online servers.

1st server i chose had very low ping but it didn't stop it from spiking every 15 minutes and disconnecting me. After 2 hours of getting disconnected every 15 minutes the server then disappeared from the server list altogether. Time to try another server that's in service.

2nd server I chose...when I spawned in it appears a player has completely walled in that spawn area preventing anyone who spawned in there from going anywhere. Let myself die of hunger. Spawned back to a different area...same thing. It seems the players on that server found a way to take an official server for their own. Time to try another server.

3rd server I chose I was immediately killed when I spawned in by a high level vile raptor (recommended starting area). Chose another spot to spawn in but just like the 1st server i chose this one was disconnecting me every 15 minutes...again. After 1 hour of getting disconnected every 15 minutes the server then disappeared from the server list altogether...again.

4th server I chose...(refer back to server #2)

Sat on server list screen hitting refresh for a bit hoping that either one of the servers I started characters that weren't trapped by walls would come back up...nope.

Well the good news is that I'm not disappointed because I got it on sale for $10. No big loss. I can't however give a good recommendation since the servers can't stay up and the players are allowed to wall off starting areas on official servers.
