The story was nice, but terrible UI & controls and numerous bugs dragged it down to the point of being near unplayable. Specifically missing lines, corrupted saves, and no "skip read text" function (the most basic one) which forces you to replay the whole game over and over. Even free, I can't really recommend it, which is a pity. Seriously, if it's to be coded this badly, just use Ren'py instead of poorly homemade game engine.

This game should be free given the time it takes to fully clear the story (20-30 minutes max). There's also some minor bugs like changing language randomly, or unable to go back to the first page of extras bc the button sends you back to menu instead. All in all, not on par with the usual quality and polishing of Ertal Games, so don't bother unless in sales or sold in a bundle with others more worthy.

I can't believe this game is free, it's way too good. Be it art, story, characters, everything was gold - except for one thing and that is picking someone else than Kat in the ending, it just feels wrong with how heavy the game lean on her. Also I can't stand Yui so seeing her hailed as best girl, wife material was a bit grating after a while. Finally I wish there was achievements because it deserves it. But honestly for a free game the experience went way beyond any of my expectations.

The plot was simple but nicely done, the art was great as well, and the characters really loveable. I'd like to see more of Noah & Hugo in the future.

EDIT : I replayed for the Remastered update, and it was so nice to see an already great game got even more polished. The little point&click addition was a nice way to add immersion to the investigation, and the True Ending made me even more curious to uncover Hugo's secrets...
No matter how long it takes, I'll be there to follow these two in their next adventure (and hopefully, see some romance too. I'm serious Hugo, never let that man go)

Somehow replaying this and going through each timeline when you know the truth hits even harder. 10/10
