In my opinion, calling this a BL/yaoi visual novel is a bit of a disservice. Yes, it features a male/male romantic relantionship that is also an important plot point, but this story is SO much more than that.

It's grade S angst, with great puzzles, an interesting art style (or rather, a collection of art styles that clash with each other a bit, but it's memorable and pleasing nonetheless), great soundtrack, short and sweet bittersweet, and easy to understand and complete. I just wish there had been more bad routes, both because I hate myself and because I loved these characters too much.

This game played with my heart in a manner that few have. It gave me that feeling of nostalgia for something you haven't lived, it made me cry, laugh, made me feel anxious as I approached the last route and smart as I figured the puzzles and the twists all by myself, made me wonder what lies in these character's stories beyond what's told to us in start;again.

In conclusion, it's amazing. Absolutely worth the time and money. Sev is an international treasure and I wish I had the skills to write such a compelling character.
