MechWarrior 5: Clans is a fun game with a had full of issues that could be fixed or entirely negated if the keep developing it. It has a serviceable story that is only bogged down with tiring to make Clan Smoke Jaguar look like nice people, witch makes the story feel a little off if you've read about their behavior in other media. I believe they do it for story reasonsPicking between staying loyal to the clan or choosing to side with the Iner-Sphere with the Wolves Dragoons was fun . The Mechlab is also a tad clunky, but i fell its a better representation of the Omni-Mechs that the clans use then the Iner-Sphere Mechlab from MechWarrior 5: Mercenary's. If they want fans to stay with Clans, and not return to Mercenary's they should try to combine them,. Clans has superior graphics and i feel make the new engine has more capability for open ended game play.

I waited 10 months for any update to fix this game and got payed mods for my trouble.

OH MY GOD WAR SUCKS, but the rest of the fundamentals are well built. I enjoy the game and feel well played enough to say it is a fun game with less hair pulling then Victoria 2, but OH MY GOD dose WAR need some fixing cuz it knocks the game down a lot in pliability because of that. Long and short of it, if you suck at Victoria 2's combat but like the whole economy go brrr of it, its what you looking for. If you like the control of your armies to a high degree play Hearts of Iron 4, as this game lacks it a lot, hope they fix it, and make Austria-Hungry not piss yellow plz. (added in a edit) I have some trust in the devs that they will get the game up to snuff, however i am no longer sure how much they can do after 125 hours of playing the game.

good game, worth the 9 dollars i bought it for while it was on sale.

After 1000 hours i have decided to update my review of this game. Its a rough start and it will be about 100 hours tell you get the hang of it and find a clan to play with, (It's hella important to do so) the building of gear is good to do if its at the end of a day or at the start to get it after you log on the next day. I find the game fun to hop on inbetwen the content droughts and after big patches for about 5~6 days of it being the only game I play. I can fell grindy at times and the story is good but not my style, but none the less its a fun thing to play IF YOU LIKE RPG's, if your more of a openworld/ naritive games person there is a bit hear for you but not more than 300~ hours for proper fun
