I put off playing Portal for years, I just didn't think the genre appealed to me... boy was I wrong!

Everything about this game is perfection of the first person puzzle genre; the atmosphere, the script, the soundtrack, all working together with one of the most simple yet intriguing storylines I have ever played. The mechanics are fun and engaging, while simultaneously having as deep or as shallow a narrative as the player is open to. While some people say that length is where Valve failed with Portal, it was perfect for me; I can't sit down and play through a 20 hour campaign anymore with my schedule, so when I saw Portal was 2-3 hours I found solice in hunkering down and playing through the whole game in one go. Awesome.

You're genuinely doing a disservice to yourself if you haven't played through Portal yet. A legitimate 10/10 game, I would recommend this to any PC Gamer.
