9 Hours in, I still haven't accomplished a lot. The map is massive, the story is really interesting so far, the progression of building capabilities is really interesting, and the skill tree has a lot of fun abilities I'm working to get.

All in all, this is a game I can easily see myself spending hundreds upon thousands of hours, and it's only in Early Access.

I bought this game because Zoo Tycoon was a favorite of mine as a child, but there's so much more you need to work on and take care of that I feel it's more akin to Oxygen Not Included than Zoo Tycoon (ironically, another game I struggle to enjoy, but some of that is mitigated by adjustable difficulty settings). I wish I could recommend this game, I really do. However, the sheer amount of micromanaging is overwhelming. I wish there was a way to tone down the neediness of everything but the animals.

This was absolutely adorable. The music is absolutely enchanting. Placing, planting, and moving objects was incredibly smooth. The two characters we have been introduced to are already endearing, and I can't wait to meet the rest of the cast. Crafting is fairly intuitive and the instructions are fairly clear (provided you remember to read the instructions and don't skip dialogue).

To those comparing the 2D art to the 3D models and complaining about lower quality, I'd like to point you in the direction of Story of Seasons or Harvest Moon 3D games and remind you all games of this genre do this. That being said ... I will concede that something about the lighting or textures on the character models in the demo are a little weird, almost too smoothed over.

Crafting and menu navigation was a little bit difficult, but, if you remember this was developed for a console vs the PC, it's not egregious. I do agree for the PC port having mouse navigation capability would benefit the game greatly.

The sprint-jump is a little high, but if you don't like it, just don't sprint-jump.

All in all, the grievances I have with this are extremely minor, especially compared to the joys of the positives, and I'm very much looking forward to the full release!

Love, love, LOVE it!

Easy interface without too much hassle for server setup like Minecraft. Entertaining to say the least, and certainly challenging.

Honestly, all I want to do is buy copies for all my friends so we can all die together.
