Finally, Dark Souls II 2

This expansion is $40 but honestly could have been an entire standalone game with how much content there is. While bosses are MUCH harder, they're also much fairer than the late-game bosses in the base game. The design of the open world has changed a ton as well, feeling much more like a giant Dark Souls level than the Lands Between.

FromSoft has a history of poor PC launches, and unfortunately this continues that trend. The game has some serious performance issues, especially if you have a slightly out of date CPU, which sucks because at that point no matter what settings you use, your performance will be the exact same. Certain bosses 2nd phases as such introduce a novel new mechanic where they attack your CPU directly due to the amount of particles on screen. Hoping this gets patched soon!
Other than that, the only real issues I have are that there are exactly as many tree fragments as you need. This results in the player being basically required to look up their locations in order to have a fair chance with late-game bosses. If they added perhaps like 10 extra to make sure the player could miss some, the balance would be much better. One massive issue that definitely needs to be patched is the final boss has certain attacks that make it near impossible to tell what's going on, and can trigger epilepsy in certain individuals.

Overall, this has me excited for the future of the series, and hopefully Fromsoft finally learns to optimize their games before launch.

cute little 10-60 minute game that serves as a very streamlined fangame for Sekiro. really helps you focus on reacting to moves rather than panic spamming

this game makes you feel like a badass until you hear that dreaded sound queue, and then it turns into a horror game

Really solid basis for a backrooms game. Absolutely beautiful visuals and sound design. Special props go to the VHS filter. Too many games overdo it, but this one keeps it light enough to feel like an actual recording, while doing it's job of obscuring the details.

Also somehow absolutely terrifying despite not having any giant spaghetti demons that chase you.

10/10 would buy up half the games industry and instantly go bankrupt again do not buy

Excellent Stalker-esque shooter with excellent character and monster and women designs and presentation.

i dont really know why this is called remastered when its just a better PC port of the same game with slightly worse graphics, but dark souls is dark souls and its still a great game
