Ever since i was 14 years old i wanted an assassin's creed game set in japan. The last one i played was origins and this feels like such a step up when it comes to the story, combat or the open world.

only took them a decade after unity to realize going prone and hiding in the shadows at night could be a good game mechanic. and same goes for things such as immersive mode and canon mode. i hate when Ac pretends to be an RPG with choices. just give me a narrative please.

loving the story as well and as someone who's living in japan and knows the language its so cool to learn the backstory about lot of the shrines and castles here. and play through some historically significant events such as the Honnō-ji Incident (本能寺の変, Honnō-ji no Hen) (end of Act1).
This way of telling a story besides real historical events is why i love this game franchise and always will.

wish i had more time to play this with my friends. reminds me of an old game i used to play when i was 15 years old it was called dirty bomb. it's gone now. but i hope this one lasts for years to come.

Absolutely loved every bit of this game, the character bio's are fun to read, the ending mission itself makes it absolutely worth it and the different possibilities and endings are a cherry on top.
There are countless references to other games, i'm sure you will have fun finding them.
there are also some imposters among us.

Far: Lone Sails is a masterclass in simple show-don't-tell set pieces and gameplay that makes for a beautiful and memorable meditative experience. If you're frustrated with complicated tutorials and endless quest markers this is the perfect game to take a break with.

i baked a cake.
Not bad for day in life of a wannabe wizard.

I love Japan and Japanese folklore, and this game is a love letter to a person like me.
The detail in every single aspect from the map itself, the items, the landmarks, the different Yokai, and the Japanese voice acting.
I might be sugarcoating a little bit, but it felt like I was playing an anime, and I was the main character.
although the game's protagonist Akito and the spirit kk remind me of Kageyama Shigeo and Ekubo from my favorite anime Mob Psycho 100.
so, for me, this game is an absolute joy to play with.

Tested too many toilets!
Destroyed the factory!
Spent 18months in prison!
Came back and murdered my boss!
Framed the loan sharks and started work again under witness protection!
All under 30minutes. Good game
