Butcher's Creek is a first person melee horror demo brought to you by the developer behind DUSK. You play as a disturbed individual with an addiction to murder photos / snuff films / gore, lured out to Butcher's Creek with the promise of authentic snuff tapes. End up captured by a group of serial killers / torturers, having to fight your way out Condemned: Criminal Origins style. Melee combat is honestly pretty similar to Condemned, with random pipes / boards / hammers / etc... having their own stats for use in combat. Taking photos of crime scenes will heal you up, gathering up snuff tapes will give you +5HP for each one you hold – tapes are also keys for doors. Combat is pretty easy, the reach of melee being a bit loose / far for what one would expect. Butcher's Creek is inspired by Manhunt and Condemned, easily being a mash-up of the two. Aside from a bug I had walking over the first instance of glass that flipped me onto the ceiling, everything was a pretty good time. **Wishlisted**
