The game is not playable on Steam Deck.

As of Q4 2022, this game doesn't support FSR, and if you want to add FSR support via mods, you will get banned from playing online, which is a shame for steam deck owners.

The online gameplay is sometimes dull and unstable as it disconnects you in the middle of missions that you invested money in, making you lose it, however, Rockstar does put efforts into adding new events and making the game feel refreshed, but that means new vehicles and some tracks but no improvements to the core game. If you have friends that own the game, it's way better to play with them than play in public, since the game is full of griefers

If you play online on the Steam Deck, make sure to play online the first time on handheld mode and not desktop mode, because the keyboard input to type your character (and organization name later on) only appears in gaming mode. On desktop mode, the game will hang (not freeze) and nothing will happen as it awaits for you to input the name while there is nothing on the screen.

Overall, I recommend the game, but the server stability could be better, coming from a AAA game-maker company that intends to milk the franchise with pay-to-win.
