Early Access Review
Very interested in seeing where this game goes in the future. I really hope it gets more popular. People commonly complain about bad matchmaking. Take a word from the wise, this is an incredibly common symptom of basically every single competitive game that doesn't hit the highest player count on the market (like Counter Strike, Valorant, LoL, Tekken, etc etc.). The best way to solve that problem is to increase player count, and the best way to do that is by playing the game and getting others to play the game too. If you want to have the most enjoyable experience you can possibly have, make sure you get into the game when big bursts of new players do. That way you have the largest group of people to share a skill bracket with. It will help a lot. The game finally went Free-to-Play like they said it would, that should hopefully get the game a decent boost to its population.

Ultra-based indie game. Super fun with a disgustingly amazing level of depth and mastery.

The best overall fighting game I've ever played. Guilty Gear has a few issues here and there but it is a special experience to deep dive into. It even has rollback netcode.

Starship Troopers if it was a top-down shooter with thought out ordinance mechanics. It's pretty great and the sequel seems like it might be interesting too.

One of the indie game kings. You've definitely heard of it. Popular sentiment has gotten slightly less bandwagon-y as of the recent past but I don't think the game's flaws are *as* significant as some unmeasurable vocal minority might insist. It's a very good game, but at worst DRG is definitely worth trying out. Rock and stone.

They definitely are working on it. I'll probably recommend this game eventually once it actually gets there but I have no idea when that's going to happen, if at all. Seems like recent additions have been good though.

I touched one of the earlier Armored Core games for no more than a few hours. I am basically brand new to the IP and I think this game is amazing. One of the best mech themed games around. If you're into games that chase the mecha fantasy, AC VI is something you should not miss under any circumstance.

My favorite indie game of all time. For what I like about video games, indie games don't get better than this for me. Apparently the developers are into fighting games and made this game according to that taste. It's not something I would have considered without them saying it outright, but after they made mention of it I definitely see the influences and I only love this game even more because of it.

I love this game. Regardless of its issues, it is by far my favorite FromSoftware game. I would go so far as to call it based. Big fan of the Celtic mythological references, homages, and inspiration too.

One of the most unique multiplayer FPS experiences out there in the current market. It's very scuffed and made by an at times questionable developer. It definitely feels aged and can look like it sometimes too. Also has the highly typical F2P trait of very evident pay-for-fashion. The playerbase is also quite small so you almost *have* to play on East Coast servers if you live in the US. Game hits its most enjoyable state when you find a group of regulars you vibe with to just play the game and hang on a regular basis. Unfortunately thats super subjective and a lot of people just aren't going to tolerate this game's faults to enjoy its benefits. I really like this game but I can't honestly tell someone its "good" or "recommended". It's an acquired taste, full stop.
