I got this game as a gift from my girl friend. It's my first foray into the Yakuza Series and after playing this I've already bought Yakuza Kiwami and plan to get Yakuza Kiwami 2 as well.

Sadly this gem of a game did not get the popularity it deserves. The mini-games are better than some so called AAA games out there. Forget the real story (which in itself is rather great and engaging), the sub-stories can be real tearjerkers both in the bad and the good way.

Oh Majima, you noble soul, your decision at the end made a bunch of ninjas cutting onions appear.

P.S. Real Yakuza use a Keyboard and Mouse.
