Squad is what I thought Battlefield was going to evolve into. Project Reality is cool but nothing touches Squad for me. As for the review bomb I think it's important to keep an eye on the hours played from the people complaining. If they decide to add customized uniforms and vehicles you might see me change my review but its a 50 dollar game that has entertained me for hundreds of hours. I see some players with 700+ hours crying about the gestures but the studio has no way to monitize the game past the initial purchase and every update is free. Every new country and all its content is free and you have a healthy modding community. Squad is a great game with 50+ active servers and a thriving player base. A lot to love about this game.
