Arma Reforger is a fun game to play.... if you ever get a chance to actually play it.

There is virtually no single-player content on this game. The vast majority of the content is on the multiplayer. On most games, this isn't an issue, but on Arma Reforger, it is.

You will sit in +50 player ques just to get into a server. On some servers, you will wait in a que... to get in the actual que. No, that is not a joke. There are ques to GET INTO A QUE. I have 23 hours on this game so far, and at least five of those hours were wasted in que times. Want to play with a group of friends? Not happening. You will never all get into the same places in que, and even if you do, you won't be able to play on the same faction because of the game's auto-balancing.

Does the server you're joining have mods? Have fun dealing with Arma Reforger's lovely in-house mod manager, which handles worse than a fourteen year old's first UI design. On top of that, it won't download mods correctly and the horrid UI design makes navigation a nightmare. I'd much rather try to navigate a boat that's lost at sea in pitch black night with a raging storm than use the mod manager UI in this game.

Why didn't BI use Steam Workshop? Good question! No one knows. It's the new 'hit thing' for game developers to not use Steam Workshop, I guess. So now, in this case, we're forced to use this mess of a thing that BI calls a 'mod manager' instead.

You might run into an issue with installing a mod - this is especially common every single time BI updates the game. Want to fix it? Have fun reading some obscure and hard-to-understand guide made by some dude online who had the same issue, with twenty-five different steps telling you to basically delete system32 and to reinstall Windows 10 to fix the issue you're having... that didn't work? Don't worry, just repeat the same steps you followed in that guide and it might work! You HAVE to do this because it's too much to ask BI to... y'know, not break their game each time they update it.

To top it all off, after you're done dealing with the nonsense que times, ridiculously bad UI, horrendous mod manager, and finally get into the server, there's a fair chance there will just be a cheater on your team or the enemy team whose killing everyone at once on repeat.

The introduction of cross-platform play has just made que times even worse, and based on how BI's designed the UI, they're clearly catering towards console players. This has made the PC experience an overall bad time.

Don't get me wrong, the game is fun once you're actually able to play it, but good luck ever getting in a server to begin with.
