Early Access Review
This is a game that is clearly in early access because it is in an early state, but playing it, there's a wealth of potential. Dripping with atmosphere drawing inspiration from too many sources to name, it blends them together to create a bleak, run down, yet ultimately engaging world where you are just a fly in the midst of a conflict so enormous it could never be about you. The gameplay is tense and has the right amount of being snappy yet a little fiddly with managing inventory and equipment. In the hours I've played the mission variety seems to amount to get X amount of Y, but I imagine as the game expands what you're doing will as well. This game's got enormous potential, and I hope the team can capitalize on it with continued development

My initial purchase of this game was based purely around its art style. And while the game's art provides a style and look unlike many other games, its the rest of it that really kept me engaged.

Playing it, this self-contained story held a lot more richness than I was expecting. The game moves at a great pace, with its twists and turns walking a tightrope act between intriguing, mysterious, humorous, and at times deeply human. It knows what kind of story it wants to tell, and does so without overstaying its welcome.

An absolutely fantastic throwback to horror games of the PSX and PS2 era, Crow Country's one of those games that wears what it's inspirations on its sleeves while carving out its own identity. A great story backed up by tense combat gameplay, fun exploration, and intuitive puzzles, it is a complete package from start to finish.

I get to build giant robots, get my ass kicked by other giant robots, then continue to build giant robots. What's not to love?

With the advent of Immortal Empires, and the general fixes they have done alongside it the game has turned itself around.

Dreamlike, surreal, with excellent visuals, a haunting soundtrack, and at times a rather devilish sense of humor, this game was an excellent adventure through and through. You can probably get all the endings in a few hours, but the game sticks with you afterwards while the songs rattle about in your brain. I'm glad I picked it up, and I hope you are too if you decide to do so.
