As a classic GFL1 fan, a gun nut & x-com fan GFL2 is a step up from the predecessor not only in visual presentation but with the recent aphelion event the story has improved significantly since launch. Unfortunately has the hoyoslop gacha chance system. Overall It's a solid game and I'm a sucker for raifus and their stories in a bleak post apocalyptic world, not many games get this right but MiCA gets it and does it better than any other gacha in the market.

So tried the Demo and completed it. A Big fan of Reikon Games previous work Runner which is one of the best isometric shooters i have played although it was a short experience. So hopefully they deliver on this and at least a much longer experience. So far I have many praises and some concerns;

Graphics & Performance
For an UE5 demo this is a good looking game and also runs well on Epic settings. The implementation of lumen and anti-aliasing in the game is not great and should be improved, ran the game without Lumen and it looked sharper. Not a fan of motion blur in shooters and unfortunately they force it hopefully we have an option to turn it off at release.

Sound & Gun-play
The impact and hit registration sounds are good but the ballistics of the guns do not sound great it lacks a decent umpf with each trigger. There is decent environmental sound atmosphere but nothing great and the music is ok but it needs more of it especially during combat & exploration.

Difficulty & Game-play
Player progression is cool with 3 guns in the demo and the ability to customize it similar to the modern DOOM from ID. I found normal pretty easy recommend you play on hard or greater if you play arcade boomer shooters.

Closing thoughts Reikon has good thing going so far I didn't experience any bugs and it looks pretty polished It just needs improvement on key areas like the Gun sounds, lumen and the ability to turn off motion blur. Despite the issues this is a day one purchase for me.

A simple brewery & pub simulator in a waterpunk / dieselpunk world, with deliveries & procurement done via a biplane you pilot. Pretty neat although progression & grind can be slow the simulation is pretty tight with decent light combat.

A one of a kind experience and awesome finale for an excellent trilogy. 4A games did not disappoint with this, loved the pacing of this with semi-open world unlike the previous game which was more linear. Expect more exploration, more weapons and overall step up coming from the previous titles.

It's worth full price, but as of now you can get the entire banger trilogy in a sale. Metro is one of my favorite franchises which depict a more mature grim dark nuclear post apocalypse with a super natural twist and does it better than most other franchises.

As of this time in writing it's a very grindy looter shooter, with world building not fully realized or developed deep enough for you to care about the characters or setting a whole lot but at it's core it's a fun game. let me summarize the pros and cons compared to others I play.

PROS
1. You can fully experience the game without any paywalls for content other than cosmetics unlike destiny.
2. New player experience learning curve is easy but not fully explained although it's easy to adapt and master the stats and systems.
3. Most descendant classes are fun enough to keep things fresh but not as good as Warframe classes.
4. The weapons are decent but still no where as varied or interesting as the ones in Destiny/Borderlands.
5. Endgame is currently focused on doing hard boss runs which has decent challenge but needs good loadouts and players who know what they are doing.

CONS
1. UI is messy atm it's functional but needs a lot of QOL improvements.
2. The loot is target farm oriented but RNG can be bad many times and there is no pity system or player trading atm.
3. Most enemy attacks has this weird bullet tracking effect which hits you no matter how hard you dodge or cover.
4. Netcode is sometimes messy with sudden lag spikes and rubber banding but nothing game breaking.
5. Some boss encounters are a gimmick with annoying immunity phases.
6. All cosmetics are paywalled including simple color swaps limited per skin per descendant / weapon. Some are free to earn in the battlepass.

Since it's Free to play, and if you like looter shooters give it a try. It's fundamentally fun to play and cool to collect all the loot it throws at you.
And if it's not your kind of looter shooter, you are not missing much there are plenty of other better alternatives.

Basically "Anime Gacha Division" but more mission based instead of open world. Surprisingly more free to play friendly than most gachas, early to mid game has good pacing but gets grindy after you reach level 60. For better visuals & optimization refer
this guide. Game had a great turn around recently hopefully the devs keep the good stuff coming, Oh! and Western VAs who have a problem with fan-service can stay the hell out.

Early Access Review
Man.. what a ride this game has been. Had a rocky release, net lag + long queue times and to top it off the publisher (DE) abandoning the publishing biz. I am a Exalted Founder and was biting my nails the whole ordeal thought the game will shutdown and be abandoned.

Well thankfully It didn't happen but unfortunately the MMO aspects of the game had to be taken off to make ends meet. Most founders were understandably pissed, but since i mostly experienced the game solo except for boss runs it didn't bother me too much. To explain as a solo player the game plays good and it's much better after the echos update. There are a few glitches atm mostly game physics & enemy AI but nothing which impacts the core game play loop. I run a 4070ti and get around average 100+ fps in 1080p on Ultra, so performance should be good for most players.

My advice is to give the game a chance. It's a solid RPG, it has come a long way and the devs do care.. if they didn't i would have refunded long ago. That being said I missed playing the world & dungeon bosses as a group, hopefully they add matchmaking group play in some way in the future.

The best character focused RPG I have ever played. The previous 2 witcher games were excellent but this really does the witcher's universe justice despite not having as much focused detail as witcher 2.

The combat even on death march difficulty although much easier than the witcher 2 is a lot more accessible and balanced.
The stories are much bigger in scope & have decent depth compared to witcher 2 although I do miss the more linear but focused stories in the previous 2 titles.
I prefer the Gwent in game compared to CDPR's standalone one.

Overall if you are a fan of character focused RPGs or the previous 2 games or the witcher universe give this game a try you don't want to miss the continuation of geralt's story.

Forza Horizon 5 is more streamlined than any forza horizon before this. The problem is if you are in for the inevitable outcomes of such casual friendly game design.

The game play is casual as ♥♥♥♥ bombarding you with vehicles and cash up the wazoo from the moment you start. More Easier to reach hall of fame and do all the gauntlet like challenges unlike the older horizons.

Season trials and multiplayer modes still has decent challenge although they did cut many multiplayer modes which were there since the first horizon. If you are a completionist there is a cash grind to get every vehicle out there some FOMO others locked behind paywalls unfortunately.

Overall I play casually and the experience is great, the season grinds are manageable without any serious time investment for a simcade. You are not really missing out on anything if you have played the previous horizons and I recommend buying on sale if you really need to play it.

As Souls-like games go this is kind of a hit or miss.
On the positive side of things I do like the story, attractive characters & aesthetic of the game nails the 'pixar' character with kind of a bleak classical Greek setting, but mostly lighthearted & not grim as most souls-likes goes.

It has the souls like save / load system, boss designs & level designs but It falls short in several areas:
1. Player progression is kinda meh, limited amount of weapons all unlocked and mostly focuses on min maxing 2 - 3 weapons .
2. Player skills and powers are based on the weapons you invested points into. Not many other options available worth a difference in game-play.
3. Difficultly even on the hardest is generally easy compared to other souls-likes, the bosses are fun to fight but might be a push over for many and some have cheap one shot mechanics which i found annoying.

Overall if you are a Fromsoft souls enjoyer you will feel disappointed because even as a AA game it is no where as complex and satisfying as Fromsoft earliest games. But if you are open for a more simpler less complex less bleak tone souls-like this might be your pick.
